The Game

Here you can find the latest posts in this game.

Current Events

The Shields have set off to rescue some children, apparently sold to some sinister followers of Ga'al. But all is not as it seems. The children have gone of their own accord, intent on becoming heroes, and the Ga'al worshippers follow the Lord of Domination no longer; they now seek the Tower of Boydos, intent upon taking the mad sleeping demigod as their new deity. What chaos awaits within the tower of entropy? Can even the Crimson Shields of Hope survive the dreams of a god gone mad?

The Marvel of Floating City

A city, over half a mile across, rising five levels out of the surface of Turtle Lake! A city not merely built upon the lake, but one that actually floats upon the waters, traveling around the great lake upon a course set long ago in a forgotten time. Such is the Floating City.

Common rumor in The Big Float, is that the miracles of engineering and magic that make Floating City what it is today were put in place by a people known as the Terriucci <sic>. The buildings constructed by these people were the ones that remained intact when the Orts of the Crying Woods pulled the great city over with their cable vines, such was the skill in their craftsmanship.

Another notable achievement of the Terriuchi <sic> is the ceiling of each level. Through powerful, long lost magical techniques, the Terriucci <sic> built the ceilings of each of the interior levels to mirror the sky above. Light from sun and moon shine through as though the level were open. Clouds move across the surface of the ceiling. Even birds that fly overhead can be seen from below.

The one exception to this is Trash Level. No one knows whether the ceiling magic was never intended for this now most poverty stricken level, or whether it, at some point failed. Trash Level is now lit by many spot and globes of Continuous Flame, provided by the city administration.
