Cradled Spell List

The following is the spell list for the Cradled, a prestige class devoted to all things fey. Both divine casting Cradled and arcane casting Cradled use this spell list. The divine Cradled can prepare any spell on the list, like a cleric. The arcane Cradled knows a subset of these spells and can prepare them as a Wizard knows and prepares Read Magic.

Zero Level Spells

  1. Beguiling Gift enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Subject immediately accepts an offered item and uses it.
  2. Call Animal enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Makes an animal come to you.
  3. Chameleon Stride illusion (glamer): Gives a +4 bonus on Stealth checks and concealment.
  4. Charm Animal enchantment (charm) [mind-affecting]: Makes one animal your friend.
  5. Confusion, Lesser enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: One creature is confused for 1 round.
  6. Crafter's Fortune transmutation: Subject gains 5 on next Craft check.
  7. Create Food and Water conjuration (creation): Feeds three humans (or one horse) per level.
  8. Dancing Lantern transmutation [fire, light]: Animates a lantern that follows you.
  9. Detect Animals or Plants divination: Detects kinds of animals or plants.
  10. Detect Magic divination: Detects spells and magic items within 60 ft.
  11. Detect Poison divination: Detects poison in one creature or object.
  12. Detect Snares And Pits divination: Reveals natural or primitive traps.
  13. Disguise Self illusion (glamer): Changes your appearance.
  14. Faerie Fire evocation [light]: Outlines subjects with light, canceling blur, concealment, and the like.
  15. Feather Fall transmutation: Objects or creatures fall slowly.
  16. Ghost Sound illusion (figment): Figment sounds.
  17. Guidance divination: +1 on one attack roll, saving throw, or skill check.
  18. Innocence transmutation: Gain 10 on Bluff checks to seem innocent.
  19. Keen Senses transmutation: Gain +2 Perception and low-light vision.
  20. Mage Hand transmutation: 5-pound telekinesis.
  21. Pass without Trace transmutation: One subject/level leaves no tracks.
  22. Restful Sleep necromancy: Gain more hit points while sleeping.
  23. Silent Image illusion (figment): Creates minor illusion of your design.
  24. Speak with Animals divination: You can communicate with animals.
  25. Whispering Wind transmutation [air]: Sends a short message 1 mile/level.

First Level Spells

  1. Animate Rope transmutation: Makes a rope move at your command.
  2. Barkskin transmutation: Grants 2 (or higher) enhancement to natural armor.
  3. Charm Person enchantment (charm) [mind-affecting]: Makes one person your friend.
  4. Cure Light Wounds conjuration (healing): Cures 1d8 damage + 1/level (max +5).
  5. Deep Slumber enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Puts 10 HD of creatures to sleep.
  6. Elemental Speech divination [air, earth, fire, or water]: Enables you to speak to elementals and some creatures.
  7. Elf Vision transmutation: You gain low light vision, 2 bonus to Perception checks, and elven secret door detection.
  8. Entangle transmutation: Plants entangle everyone in 40-ft. radius.
  9. Fog Cloud conjuration (creation): Fog obscures vision.
  10. Glide transmutation: You take no falling damage, move 60 ft./round while falling.
  11. Gravity Bow transmutation: Arrows do damage as though one size category bigger.
  12. Heroism enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Gives 2 bonus on attack rolls, saves, skill checks.
  13. Hide Campsite illusion (glamer): Hides all traces of your campsite.
  14. Hold Animal enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Paralyzes one animal for 1 round/level.
  15. Honeyed Tongue transmutation: Roll 2 dice when using Diplomacy, take higher roll.
  16. Invisibility illusion (glamer): Subject is invisible for 1 min./level or until it attacks.
  17. Jester's Jaunt conjuration (teleportation): Teleport target within 30 ft. of itself.
  18. Lily Pad Stride transmutation: Walk across water on moving lily pads.
  19. Locate Object divination: Senses direction toward object (specific or type).
  20. Minor Image illusion (figment): As silent image, plus some sound.
  21. See Invisibility divination: Reveals invisible creatures or objects.
  22. Solid Note conjuration (creation): Creates tangible music note.
  23. Suggestion enchantment (compulsion) [language-dependent, mind-affecting]: Compels subject to follow stated course of action.
  24. Summon Fey Friend I conjuration (summoning): Summons magical, elemental, or fey creature to fight for you.
  25. Wood Shape transmutation: Reshapes wooden objects to suit you.

Second Level Spells

  1. Call Lightning evocation [electricity]: Calls down lightning bolts (3d6 per bolt) from sky.
  2. Cure Moderate Wounds conjuration (healing): Cures 2d8 damage + 1/level (max +10).
  3. Dimension Door conjuration (teleportation): Teleports you a short distance.
  4. Divination divination: Provides useful advice for specific proposed actions.
  5. Dominate Animal enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: One animal obeys your silent mental commands and orders.
  6. Dream illusion (phantasm) [mind-affecting]: Sends message to anyone sleeping.
  7. Fly transmutation: Subject flies at speed of 60 ft.
  8. Hallucinatory Terrain illusion (glamer): Makes one type of terrain appear like another (field as forest, or the like).
  9. Haste transmutation: One creature/level moves faster, receives 1 on attack rolls, AC, and Reflex saves.
  10. Euphoria conjuration: Pollen burst fascinates creatures in 10' radius.
  11. Hold Person enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Paralyzes one humanoid for 1 round/level.
  12. Invisibility Sphere illusion (glamer): Makes everyone within 10 feet invisible.
  13. Locate Creature divination: Indicates direction to familiar creature.
  14. Major Image illusion (figment): As silent image, plus sound, smell, and thermal effects.
  15. Planar Ally, Lesser conjuration (calling): Exchange services with a 6 HD extraplanar creature.
  16. Shrink Item transmutation: Object shrinks to one-sixteenth size.
  17. Stone Shape transmutation [earth]: Sculpts stone into any shape.
  18. Summon Fey Friend II conjuration (summoning): Summons magical, elemental, or fey creature to fight for you.
  19. Tongues divination: Speak and understand any language.
  20. Tree Shape transmutation: You look exactly like a tree for 1 hour/level.

Third Level Spells

  1. Charm Monster enchantment (charm) [mind-affecting]: Makes monster believe it is your ally.
  2. Command Plants transmutation: Sways the actions of plant creatures.
  3. Confusion enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Subjects behave oddly for 1 round/level.
  4. Cure Serious Wounds conjuration (healing): Cures 3d8 damage + 1/level (max +15).
  5. Flame Arrow transmutation [fire]: Arrows deal +1d6 fire damage.
  6. Freedom of Movement abjuration: Subject moves normally despite impediments to restrict movement.
  7. Glibness transmutation: You gain 20 bonus on Bluff checks, and your lies can escape magical discernment.
  8. Ice Storm evocation [cold]: Hail deals 5d6 damage in area 40 ft. across.
  9. Invisibility, Greater illusion (glamer): As invisibility, but subject can attack and stay invisible.
  10. Legend Lore divination: Lets you learn tales about a person, place, or thing.
  11. Make Whole transmutation: Repairs an object.
  12. Mirage Arcana illusion (glamer): As hallucinatory terrain, plus structures.
  13. Persistent Image illusion (figment): As major image, but no concentration required.
  14. Planar Ally conjuration (calling): Exchange services with a 6 HD extraplanar creature.
  15. Plane Shift conjuration (teleportation): As many as 8 subjects travel to another plane.
  16. Scrying divination (scrying): Spies on subject from a distance.
  17. Sleepwalk enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Causes creature to move while asleep.
  18. Speak with Plants divination: You can talk to plants and plant creatures.
  19. Suggestion, Mass enchantment (compulsion) [language-dependent, mind-affecting]: As suggestion, affects subject/level.
  20. Summon Fey Friend III conjuration (summoning): Summons magical, elemental, or fey creature to fight for you.

Fourth Level Spells

  1. Call Lightning Storm evocation [electricity]: As call lightning, but 5d6 damage per bolt.
  2. Commune divination: Deity answers one yes-or-no question/level.
  3. Commune with Nature divination: Learn about terrain for 1 mile/level.
  4. Cure Critical Wounds conjuration (healing): Cures 4d8 damage + 1/level (max +20).
  5. Dominate Person enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Controls humanoid telepathically.
  6. Frozen Note enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting, sonic]: Paralyzes creatures listening to your song.
  7. Magic Weapon, Greater transmutation: Weapon gains 1 bonus/four levels (max +5).
  8. Minor Creation conjuration (creation): Creates one cloth or wood object.
  9. Planar Ally, Greater conjuration (calling): As lesser planar ally, but up to 18 HD.
  10. Programmed Image illusion (figment): As major image, plus triggered by event.
  11. Song of Discord enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting, sonic]: Forces targets to attack each other.
  12. Stone Tell divination: Talk to natural or worked stone.
  13. Summon Fey Friend IV conjuration (summoning): Summons magical, elemental, or fey creature to fight for you.
  14. Teleport conjuration (teleportation): Instantly transports you as far as 100 miles per level.
  15. Veil illusion (glamer): Changes appearance of group of creatures.

Fifth Level Spells

  1. Cloak of Dreams enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Living creatures within 5 ft. fall asleep.
  2. Control Water transmutation [water]: Raises or lowers bodies of water.
  3. Getaway conjuration (teleportation): Teleports a group of predetermined allies and creatures to a predetermined location.
  4. Grove of Respite conjuration (creation): Creates trees and a small spring.
  5. Heroes' Feast conjuration [creation]: Food for one creature/level cures and grants combat bonuses.
  6. Heroism, Greater enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Gives 4 bonus on attack rolls, saves, skill checks; immunity to fear; temporary hp.
  7. Hold Monster enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: As hold person, but any creature.
  8. Major Creation conjuration (creation): As minor creation, plus stone and metal.
  9. Mislead illusion (figment, glamer): Turns you invisible and creates illusory double.
  10. Permanent Image illusion (figment): Permanent illusion, includes sight, sound, smell, and thermal effects.
  11. Planar Adaptation transmutation: Resist harmful effects of a plane.
  12. Scrying, Greater divination (scrying): As scrying, but faster and longer.
  13. Summon Fey Friend V conjuration (summoning): Summons magical, elemental, or fey creature to fight for you.
  14. Temporal Stasis transmutation: Puts subject into suspended animation.
  15. Vision divination: As legend lore, but quicker.

Sixth Level Spells

  1. Control Winds transmutation [air]: Changes wind direction and speed.
  2. Fabricate transmutation: Transforms raw materials into finished items.
  3. Hold Person, Mass enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: As hold person, but all within 30 ft.
  4. Invisibility, Mass illusion (glamer): As invisibility, but affects all in range.
  5. Life Bubble abjuration: Protects creatures from environment.
  6. Moment of Prescience divination: You gain an insight bonus on single attack roll, check, or save.
  7. Pied Piping enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting, sonic]: Compel similar creatures to follow you.
  8. Summon Fey Friend VI conjuration (summoning): Summons magical, elemental, or fey creature to fight for you.
  9. Symbol of Persuasion enchantment (charm) [mind-affecting]: Triggered rune charms nearby creatures.
  10. Symbol of Sleep enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Triggered rune puts nearby creatures into catatonic slumber.

Seventh Level Spells

  1. Animate Plants transmutation: One or more plants animate and fight for you.
  2. Charm Monster, Mass enchantment (charm) [mind-affecting]: As charm monster, but all within 30 ft.
  3. Control Weather transmutation: Changes weather in local area.
  4. Discern Location divination: Reveals exact location of creature or object.
  5. Insanity enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Subject suffers continuous confusion.
  6. Irresistible Dance enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: Forces subject to dance.
  7. Limited Wish universal: Alters reality (within limits).
  8. Planar Adaptation, Mass transmutation: As planar adaptation, but affects multiple creatures.
  9. Summon Fey Friend VII conjuration (summoning): Summons magical, elemental, or fey creature to fight for you.
  10. Teleport, Greater conjuration (teleportation): As teleport, but no range limit and no off-target arrival.

Eighth Level Spells

  1. Control Plants transmutation: Controls actions of one or more plant creatures.
  2. Foresight divination: “Sixth sense” warns of impending danger.
  3. Hold Monster, Mass enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: As hold monster, but all within 30 ft.
  4. Summon Fey Friend VIII conjuration (summoning): Summons magical, elemental, or fey creature to fight for you.
  5. Time Stop transmutation: You act freely for 1d4+1 rounds.

Ninth Level Spells

  1. Dominate Monster enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]: As dominate person, but any creature.
  2. Gate conjuration (creation or calling): Connects two planes for travel or summoning.
  3. Storm of Vengeance conjuration (summoning): Storm rains acid, lightning, and hail.
  4. Summon Fey Friend IX conjuration (summoning): Summons magical, elemental, or fey creature to fight for you.
  5. Wish universal: As limited wish, but with fewer limits.
