With this spell, the caster surrenders his imbued spirit, slaying it with a +1 (or better) glass or silver dagger (not a spirit dagger); this breaks the magic glass or silver dagger used (and which costs 2,400 gp to make in the first place). Then the witch must attempt a Fortitude saving throw (DC 15). If the saving throw fails, the witch loses 100 experience points per class level. A successful saving throw reduces the loss to half of that amount. A slain familiar cannot be replaced for a year and day. It cannot be reincarnated or brought back. The lost xp cannot be restored. As a result of the spell, the witch can make a wish (just like the spell), with no further xp loss.
