The upstairs library yields little else. However, some finds one book that details the area and terrain surrounding Little Notting, lake and outlying places.
The book is some sort of journal, but the writting is in a fine hand, in tidy scrolling letters. There are no markings on the cover to indicate an owner.
The book dates to around 250 year ago, by Toothache's estimation, and talks about a church's centennial birthday and the arrival of clergy of Boccob to attend the festivities. It states that the entire village was in attendance at the church. The author writes about a sacrifice for the greater good and Boccob's warrior perishing for the cause. The author also speaks of treasure seekers disappearing in the area trying to find the Father's remains, but means of location were unable to detect them.
The moth flies away, out of Lenoir's sight. Seems it tired of teh game.

Gentian's head aches. "This is too puzzling for me. So the curse started when this "sacrifice" was made? How do we reverse that?"
Have we gone through the whole house now? Maybe we should hit the graveyartd in the daylight.

Ball Room - The furniture in this room is covered in white linen drop cloths, like the dining room.
Coat room - is filled with old hat racks, hangers, linens folded in boxes, and several old dusty coat covers.
Empty room - is empty. Nothing to search for or in.
Sitting Room - The furniture in this room is also covered in white linen drop cloths.
Den - Fluffy leather chairs and a few tables are here. A few novels sit on the side table.
Antique Room - Doloff's antiques are wall to wall in this room. You can't move very easily in here without hitting a shin or kneecap, or stubbing a toe.
Doloff's Bedroom - Doloff's bed is an antique four-poster with silken hangings. Most of the furniture in Doloff's room seems to be made from yew wood. The four poster is arranged within the center of the room, with several other tall pieces stacked atop it in graduated size, largest to smallest, the hangings in shreds.
Eclip notices that much of the furniture is made of the same type of tree. (two d20 rolls from each of you please. No, these are not search, spot or listen checks!;))
As for the time, it seems that the entire day has slipped into night without anyone noticing. Its roughly eight o'clock and is darkening. The moon is brighter than the previous night.

Calor sees where Toothache spotted the door. Only the corner is visible behind crates and crates piled high. The door would not be obvioous to the mundane eye.
"Thought so." The dwarf points to the stoneworked door. "Good work on it too. No one could have seen it if another crate was there. This is a new one to add to the Manor's list of oddities." Toothache seems almost excited. "I still don't think we should point around anymore. What was the mission? To find out what is going on? The fey are messing with Doloff and from the sounds of it, the past owners too. Shouldn't we leave well enough alone?" Suggests the dwarf.
The occassional rat passes over foot and crate.
