Grindar is open to trying anything.

That's good, maybe, because 'Osul's natural intuition, the result of his prayer and meditation, is this:

We Need To Perform A Ritual!

What's more, 'Osul's thought is that as a chaotic Power, the Culverwood does not have a set or specific ritual that it expects or demands. Rather, it requires that you perform a unique and original ritual, maybe a novel ritual never before performed in the Wold! One to which each of you must contribute a part!

'Osul sums it up: "We need to perform a new ritual. So just go ahead and do something ... ritualistic?"

What do you do to improvise your ritual? And will the Culverwood deem it novel and acceptable?

Grindar thinks long and hard as to what would be ritualistic, and than thinks, a dancing half-orc would definitely be something you only saw during rituals, so he tries to dance, but it looks more like he is having a seizure than anything resembling a dance. (perform 5)

Trellus considers. What would a Wood want?

The man decides to go with water.

He casts Create Water above the center of the fey circle. But only about a gallon, shaped in a vertical cylinder about an inch in diameter and as tall as the spell will allow.

The intent being a stream of water flowing down into the center of the fey circle.

The party's first attempt fails! Most people simply chose not to try, specifically, Moridark, 'Osul, Armand, Elyngael, and Yurr'Neshi. Though at least Moridark is thinking hard.

In fact, his deep thought suggests that adding a bit of arcana to the ritual would be a fine way to contribute, so long as everybody is contributing at the same time. But what bit of arcana? Maybe the intention is the magical part ...

... along with at least basic competency! *cough*Grindar*cough*

Yes, although Grindar's dance is at least an effort in the right direction, well, as the half-orc stumbles and trips over his own feet, it is hard to see how the Culverwood, or anyone, honestly, could be impressed.

Trellus's effort sparks a bit of encouragement, though. You hear the tinkling of fairie bells when he performs his ritual of water.

OOC DM - Actually I contend not trying. I posted for Osul yesterday and then you posted. I generally only have certain times of the day when I can post and you posted again before my 24 hours from my last post occurred.

'Osul says. "We must try again and be in concert. Try to put some form of arcane effort if you can. Though if you have no spells to cast I guess do the best you can."

'Osul will cast speak with plants and talk to the fairy ring trying to encourage it as to their good intentions.

'Osul, Armand, Elyngael, Trellus, and Moridark all make worthy attempts at a ritual. So much so that you have a feel of power building up. There are sparkles of rainbows. The trees sway with no breeze to push them. You hear the sound of a fife or pan pipes playing an unearthly tune.

But will the rest of the party join the ritual in progress? Grindar? Neshi?

With everybody participating in their own ritual, something magical happens. You hear a tinkling of bells, fireflies appear, and flower petals rain down.

If you make a perception check vs DC31, then Please Highlight to display spoiler: { You notice fairies and smiling fey poking their heads from behind trees to watch while the ritual is being performed. They seem amused.}

Let your DM be very clear. You do not go anywhere!

Everybody feels a slight sense of euphoria. The same trees are there, the same mushrooms, the same circle. This is the same place. BUT things have changed! All the manifestations of the ritual, the bells, the flower petals, etc, have ceased. Everything looks darker. You see shadows everywhere. Even though there is some dim light, you can’t tell where it is coming from, as you can’t see the sun.

Your euphoria turns to a feeling of queasiness. It quickly passes though. The forest is dim -- but it is not night. It is quiet but not silent. You hear a bug chirping. There is a slight breeze.

Armand looks around. "I'm not sure if that worked." He looks up and around. "Sure got dark for it being morning. I wonder if there's a lot of cloud cover right now. Maybe it will rain?

He wonders about the euphoria and slight dizziness he experienced. They've crossed plains before but this was somehow different.

OoC... Sorry for not posting on Friday. The wife and I were asked to babysit our 5 year old grandson, at the last minute, and well, I was barely able to get my DM post in Taur up. He is the apple of my eye, but he is also a handful!

Grindar doesn't notice anything, but realizes that something is different about where they are now. "This is indeed new, yet the same, how strange. Is this where we need to be I wonder?"

Elyngael mentions that you saw fey folk peeking as you performed the ritual. And she is sure that she is still in her favored terrain. In a way, this is more foresty than any forest you have visited before, somehow. Now the fey are gone, but the ranger sees something else:

Those shadows mentioned in last DM post? The dark is trying to overrun the light. Weeds and vines move like snakes on the ground, entwining and trying to overrun the other. Bushes are trying to envelop smaller bushes. The branches of trees clash against each other. These are subtle conflicts, not battles -- But the forest seems to be in conflict with itself.

Armand, with a fine knowledge of the Planes, senses that this is not a mere planar transit. The Culverwood is a magical forest. You have gone ... deeper ... into it. You have not left it. You have not shifted planes. But you are more HERE than you were before. The Culverwood is a divinity. You have the sense that you have stepped into sacred ground.

Trellus is skeptical of the whole thing.

Moridark tries to summon a dog, but instead, a leprechaun appears! If Moridark wants the fey to hop in and out of the circle, he says, "Well, are ye sure? Why would ye want me to be doin' that?"

He glances at Elyngael when she comments about the fairies.

"Yeah, I think we should ask for directions."

The man doesn't address the fairies himself, deferring to Osul or Grindar or anybody else, really.

The Fey folk who were peeking at you during the ritual are gone, but there is still a leprechaun that Moridark summoned instead of a dog.

"Yeah, ye daft giants, whattaya mean the fey are gone? What am I, chopped liver?!" the cheery but annoyed-looking short fellow says, loudly.

The magical creature speaks with an accent and with lingo you may not understand!

The leprechaun laughs and explains that he is from the Wold's Cradle.

"The Cradle be close indeed to the Culverwood, especially deep in like we are here. But ye can go deeper still, of course." He looks to Moridark more than to anyone else, and Moridark senses a connection of summoner to sumonee.

But before the conversation goes much farther, Grindar and Elyngael see something. The area around the fey circle has areas of dark and light, vying with each other. From the darkest patch, six female shapes emerge, flying closer. Elyngael notices that they are misty, maybe incorporeal, and they look as if they were made of light and dark stormclouds, flickering with lightning.

Grindar has no idea what these incoming creatures are, but when one of them reaches for Neshi, he tries to dive after him, only to land on nothing as Neshi vanished. He stands up and says, "We have incoming, and we lost Neshi!"

Armand Presents his holy symbol and says "By the power of Gargul I command you to depart this plane." hoping for the +2 saving throw bonus by presenting an object the target either hates, fears, or otherwise opposes casts Banishment. Arcanotheigns are incorporeal, have resonably decent armor ( AC27), and are hearty (about 200 hp.) Arcanotheigns have telepathy, can resist spells ( SR31), Protection from both good and evil, and can channel energy of any kind." The mage stops for a moment and whistles softly as he exhales. [b]"One or two of these maybe...six and we are lighter now with whatever that was spiriting Neshi off. I have a few teleports tht can be cast if necessary, and fly. Let's hope it doesnt come to that but stay close just in case!"

Moridark takes the time to cast Magic circle versus evil on himself, and centers himself within the party.

Neshi's sudden departure is very much a concern, but the party know the sorcerer has all sorts of tricks up his sleeve. If anyone can make their way back from another plane, it's him.

Grindar prepares for the incoming hostiles.

Most of the party recognise these abominations as Arcanotheigns - powerful outsiders with quite a few tricks up their metaphorical sleeves.

Armand presents his holy symbol and commands they leave this plane of existence. The arcanotheigns resist his spell and suffer not ill effects.

Elyngael decides this battle will be a sword and board fight. She stows her bow and draws her sunblade.

Trellus is ready for a fight. He steps up and hacks away with a ghost touch weapon.

Mordiark goes on the defensive and casts a Magic Circle vs Evil spell.

The enemy act...

They fly forwards to encircle the party and attack from range.

A1 and A2 throw pulsating balls of arcane power at Armand! (Hit TouchAC30, 42. Armand takes 28pts damage and must make 2 x DC26 Will Saves. Fail either=Confused for 10rounds.)

A3 reaches out and places a ghostly hand against Trellus' chest (Defensively cast Harm. Trellus to make a Will Save vs DC24. Pass=75pts damage. Fail=150pts (but can't drop you to less than 1HP))

A4 and A5 attack Grindar from range, throwing balls of crackling magic his way! (Hit TouchAC42, 45. Crit confirmed on 41. Grindar takes 33pts damage and must make 2 x DC26 Will Saves. Fail either=Confused for 10rounds.)

He then grabs his rod of quicken and casts Magic Circle against evil.

Moridark shudders for just a moment at the sudden onslaught before training kicks in. Moridark casts a quickened Glitterdust on A1 hoping to at least slow down the outsider (Will 21, No SR). The mage then turns toward A2 and casts Maze (No saving throw, SR 50) hoping to remove the creature from the fight at least temporarily. "My summoned creatures wont be ble to help in this fight Iam afraid."

Trellus takes the hit and then buffs himself to protect from subsequent blows. He casts the Shield of Faith spell, but it just doesn't have the same 'kick' to it that it usually does. (The spell is only providing a +3 deflection bonus!). The cleric responds in kind by whacking the Arcanotheign with two good hits.

He doesn't have time to use his Weapon Master ability, though perhaps that's for the best!
Highlight to display spoiler: {Quickened Spells are swift, rather than free actions. Ethereal critters are immune to crits too, so you can keep the Wpn Master ability. Please also roll a d100 when you cast a divine spell to see if 'something' happens.}

Armand channels energy to harm the outsiders. His attack hurts two of the Arcanotheigns but perhaps not as hard as he'd hoped. He follows up with a quickened Magic Circle vs Evil to try and protect himself and his friends. He can feel a tingling in his fingertips as the spell is cast, and realizes that it has been widened somehow! (Armand's Magic Circle has a radius of 20ft rather than the usual 10ft!)

Elyngael raises her sword above her head and starts creating a bright light.

Osul reverts back down to size and casts a Foresight spell. His instincts tell him that staying close to the party could be a double-edged sword. That cloudkill spell could be nasty...

Grindar gets confused, and with a crazed look starts pummeling Osul!

Moridark tries to blind one of the Arcanotheigns, but it only gets sparkly. His Maze spell does the trick though, and one of the baddies blips away. Moridark knows that these creatures are incredibly intelligent so it might be back sooner that he'd like. The party should take advantage of this opportunity while they can.

Brawn, Cotton and the Leprechaun stand guard.

Moridark's knees almost give out from the massive damage taken from teh three creatures but the mage manages to stand fast. The mage shrugs off the saves from A1 and A4. Moridark fails the first save from A5 but uses a hero point to reroll. The mage passes his first save, but fails the second. Moridark looks over the battle and shakes his heas. The mage casts haste on teh party, and then using his rod of quicken he casts fly on himself. Moridark will then fly 30 feet up du to Osul's warning.

Osul warns the group about the danger of being so closely gathered and then distances himself from Grindar. He doesn't recall any particular weaknesses these creatures have. In fact, they are very resilient to most magical forms of attack. Their only real weakness is against weapons and spells that can affect ethereal creatures.

Moridark doesn't want to take another hit like that. He hastens the party and then flies straight up.

Grindar cuts himself in the leg, but it's ok as he wasn't using it anyway.

Armand channels energy to heal a lot of the party. Like, a LOT. His channeling power isn't really the use of casting a divine spell, so he can be assured that it's effects will be consistent (no need to roll d100s)

He tries to break Grindar's enchantment but to no avail. The spell fizzles and isn't able to overcome the caster level of the confusion effect. The extra range of his Magic Circle spell encompasses practically the entire party though. (Gindar gets to make a DC26 Will Save again - with a +2 bonus - to suppress the confusion effect. Pass=Act freely while within 20ft of Armand!)

Trellus spontaneously (and defensively?) casts a cure spell on himself and then keeps up his attack. His ghost touch weapon is paying for itself right now and he continues to do damage with it!

Elyngael moves up behind Trellus to improve his armor a little. (Please roll a D100 when Elyngael casts a spell)

Moridark then 'blips' 5ft to the south east. If that's the worst thing that happens to him today he'll be fine.

Armand tries to stabilize the health of the party. He's doing a fairly good job of it too. The damage of the arcanotheigns is comparable to his channeling power.

Moridark takes the hits, but sends another of the monsters off to a maze.

Osul heals himself, which is fortunate as he was getting pretty hurt there.

Grindar stands still land watches everything going on around him. A string of drool hangs from the side of his mouth and threatens to fall any moment now.

Trellus keeps up his toe-to-toe fight. He calls out the issue with the barkskin spell, but doesn't let it stop him from swinging away!

Elyngael's barkskin spell might not have done what she was hoping, but casting it didn't take as much effort as it normally does. (Elyngael retains the spell/slot!). She figures that even though her bow doesn't do as much damage as it normally does, it's still better than nothing. She's right. Even though she can only get 2 arrows away, it's enough to finish off the arcanotheign that Trellus had been so persistently attacking!

Moridark 'blips' 5ft south.

A1 casts the Cloudkill spell that Osul was worried about! (Elyngael, Brawn, Armand, Gindar and Trellus to make DC23 Fort Saves. Pass=2pts Con damage. Fail=4pts Con damage. Necklace of Adapatation gives immunity. Leprechaun to make a DC23 Fort Save. Pass=4pts Con damage. Fail=Die).

The toxic fog is 20ft high and obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet.

A2 and A4 are stuck in their separate mazes but are getting closer to escaping.

A5 has a pretty good idea where Moridark is. It uses it's magical blasts again, though this time only one hits! (Hit TouchAC34 and 32. Miss chances:4, 53. Moridark takes 15pts damage.) It flies 5ft into the air to get a better view.

Grindar isn't going to let Armand off the hook, and pursues after him.

Wardd's Blessing comes in handy for Elyngael and Trellus. Brawn coughs a little as the toxis fumes stick in his throat.

It's Trellus this time that channels healing energy to the closely gathered group. He circles around the cloud and advances on one of the arcanotheigns.

Elyngael steps out of the mist and plus one of the monsters 3 times. It's not a lot of damage by her normal extreme standard, but in this fight every bit counts.

Armand's necklace keeps the air nice and clear for the cleric. (Highlight to display spoiler: {The leprechaun is a summoned creature under Moridark's control. It's as foreign to this area as you are}). He casts a Spiritual Weapon spell, but it fails to beat the arcanotheign's impressive resistances.

Osul is easily able to control the winds in the area and blows the cloudkill far away from his friends.

Moridark flies a bit higher and retrieves a potion. He then blips southwest (Please roll the save for the leprechaun)

The enemy act...

A1 has Cotton pretty close to it, and targets the rapke! (Hit TouchAC36, 36. Cotton takes 27pts damage and must make 2 x DC26 Will Saves. Fail 1=Confused for 10rounds. Fail 2=insane!)

A2 and A4 each come very close to finding the exit from their respective mazes, but make wrong turns. Both remain mazed.

A5 takes a step back and fires two blasts as the approaching Trellus! (Hit TouchAC45. Crit confirmed AC34. Hit AC32. Trellus takes 39pts damage and must make 2 x DC26 Fort Saves! Armand moves (with haste effect added to distance). One in place he casts Holy Aura (d100=68) (20foot radius). A brilliant divine radiance surrounds the subjects, protecting them from attacks, granting them resistance to spells cast by evil creatures, and causing evil creatures to become blinded when they strike the subjects. This abjuration has four effects.(see below)

He then uses his rod of quicken and burns a 6th level spell to cast Cure Moderate Wounds mass. (d100=93) Healing everyone in in a 30 foot radius for 26 hit points (2d8+17).

Osul strikes his staff to the ground and it lowly transforms it into a timber wight, ready to do the druid's bidding.

Grindar tries to get to Mordiark but the wizard is too high and too invisible for him to do so. Instead he starts drooling from the other side of his mouth.

Cotton rushes to her master, and in her confusion attacks him! (Highlight to display spoiler: {Poor wording there on my part. When I said Fail 2, I meant Fail both - not fail the second one. Cotton is only confused for 10rnds and isn't insane})

Trellus knows the routine and gets back into it.

Elyngael sets Brawn to protect her in case Grindar gets any ideas in his confused state. She manages to get a few good shots away too

Armand moves himself closer to the main group and casts a couple of spells. First he casts a powerful protective spell over the party, and then follows it up with some healing across everyone (except for Moridark and Osul). He must have tapped into some unknown power, as the spell works better than he expected! (Armand's cure spell is maximised and cures 33pts!)

Moridark takes a moment to down a potion and heal himself as he looks over the battlefield.

Trellus and then Moridark each 'blip' NE from where they had been a moment ago.

A1 casts another Cloudkill spell (Elyngael, Brawn, Grindar, Cotton, and Trellus to make DC23 Fort Saves. Pass=1pts Con damage. Fail=2pts Con damage). The toxic fog is 20ft high and obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet.

Armand moves through the cloudkill area, fortunately immune to it, toward Trellus's last position. When he gets near enough he see's him and goes over and casts Heal on Trellus.

Grindar is blissfully unaware of what is going on right now and is quite happy to entertain himself. Cotton is lucid for a moment, but it's enough to know that her master is in trouble. She drags him out of the fog.

Armand heals Trellus without a problem. His casting works as intended. Being immune to the Cloudkill's vapors is really helping him right now.

Elynael sends Brawn away and then maneuvers to get a clear line of sight at the nearest arcanotheign. She plugs it with two arrows.

Trellus gets healed nicely but isn't quite sure what to do next. (Highlight to display spoiler: {Assuming you follow the same pattern, I'm going to assume 5ft step and full attack. If you take the same action this coming round, I'll let you make 2 full attacks: one for this round, one for next round. The party kinda need you!})

Osul controls the wind to blow the new cloudkill spell far away from the group. His treant slams once into its target and gives him a chance to get to a safer distance.

Moridark transforms into a huge gold dragon and sends a breath of fire towards the arcanotheign to the west. It doesn't seem particularly harmed though. Something doesn't add up, and he thinks back to the information he shared with the group earlier. (Highlight to display spoiler: {Had to look up the breath weapon DC, but found this: "The DC for any of these abilities equals your DC for the polymorph spell used to change you into that form.", so as a 9th level spell.})

Grindar acts normally! For the first time in a long time, the ranger's head is clear and he takes advantage of what might be a brief reprieve.

Cotton will need some tending to later.

Trellus presses his attack on the arcanotheign. His attacks are solid but it doesn't die.

Until Elyngael act. Once again, Trellus has chipped away at a target and Elyngael delivers the fatal blow. The arcanotheign fades away into nothingness. Elyngael's last two arrows make their mark on the arcanotheign that Grindar is facing.

Armand rushes to Grindar's aid and both ends the confusion effect and repairs the effects of the Cloudkill spells. Grindar is really back in action now!

Moridark swoops in to bite at the target to the west. He has superior reach so doesn't need to get too close to it. His bite hits nicely, but it doesn't get frightened by him.

Grindar gets to work and gives Cyrchwr Mawr a workout by landing a series of blows. Elyngael joins in and narrowly misses out on another kill. Moridark then swoops in for the final blow but misses on his attack.

Cotton realises there's a fight going on and rushes to attack one of the arcanotheigns

Armand is glad that he was able to heal Grindar's afflictions so quickly. That spell normally takes a bit longer to cast. For now he acts as healer and shield. His Magic Circle protecting people from those pesky confusion effects.

Trellus hustles across the battlefield to join the fun.

Osul is down for the count, but presumably stablizes. His treant stands watch over his body.

The party have worked out a good routine now. Focusing on these opponents one at a time is a good way to go.

"Gadzooks, 'Osul is down." He moves over to 'Osul (5 feet short with haste, so can I spend a hero point for 5 feet of movement?). "He mutters, 'split up, it will be safer', this always happens when we split up to much."

When he reaches 'Osul he casts his last Heal spell. (d100=3...not sure how this is going to go or if being close to those Arcanotheigns are what causes the holy spell issue, and you can't spend more than 1 hero point a round.) If it works, 'Osul is healed 150, ability damage is fixed, etc. etc.

What a difference a half-orc makes. The Arcanotheign is no match for Grindar. It's head is cleanly severed and sent flying off into the trees. If it had a head of course. It's ethereal so instead just dies.

Trellus gives Grindar a healing pat on the back. (Please roll d100 on your spells)

Osul stablises. Armand rushes over to help. His Heal spell doesn't go quite as planned. Instead of healing, a burst of pink flower petals flies from Armand's hand and rain down on Osul.

Osul doesn't see the funny side to the flower petals. It's a little bit too much like a funeral, and the druid ain't dead yet!

The party have their tactics coordinated now. Focus on one enemy at a time and bring them down.

Grindar and Cotton coordinate their attacks on the hovering arcanotheign. Both land their attacks.

Elyngael plugs the same target and Moridark even gets a respectable bite in.

Trellus runs off in pursuit of Grindar. Honestly, half-orcs and battle!

Armand isn't having a great day. He tries to cast a cure spell on Osul, but instead of healing him the spell functions like a Create Water spell! It washes some of the flower petals away, but most just stick to Osul's now very wet clothes. Giving up on his spells, Armand relies on his channelling to heal those around him - Osul included.

The party swarm on the arcanotheign!

Trellus' ghost touch weapon delivers a ton of damage, yet it's Elyngael who once again delivers the final blow. That's 3 out of 4 that Trellus has worn down and Elyngael has finished off.

With the arcanotheign down, Grindar and Cotton have a chance to catch their breath. Moridark is also spared any embarrassment from potentially missing all of his attacks.

Osul - wet and covered in pink flower petals - asks for a status update.

Armand sums it up pretty well: could be better, could be worse. He gifts Osul another blast of healing, but even though the spell is cast properly, Armand can still feel it's power (Armand didn't expend a spell slot!)

The remaining arcanotheign knows who the real threat is here. It takes a step up into the air and fires two blasts at Trellus! The first one is particularly powerful. (Hit TouchAC45. The treant rushes over while the the party move to get into fighting positions. The arcanotheign is unable to get out of the path of the treant as it rushes over, and takes some damage.

Grindar, Trellus, Osul and Moridark all approach.

Armand's healing channel surprises him by actually working! (Only divine spells are affected. Abilities are fine. You keep your hero point)

Elyngael is losing motivation. It's hard for the ranger to focus on her fire-repeat actions.

The enemy acts...

It opens fire on Trellus again, but in all the excitement misses him with one blast! The other is on target though. (Miss TouchAC26. Nat1. Hit TouchAC30. Trellus takes 11pts damage!)

You'd think being completely surrounded the party would be able to finish this last enemy off quickly.

I don't think Moridark moved himself

There's not much Armand can do but try to keep everyone up and in the fight. He decides to go with another channel again.
Channel 35 HP to everyone (I think if Moridark did double move he's in range).

Haste:+1 bonus on attack rolls and a +1 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves. +30' to movement. Extra attack on full round attacks.

Magic Circle Against Evil (20 foot radius) +2 deflection to AC, +2 resistance on saves vs evil attacks/spells. ---neither used, as they don't stack with existing protections. ALSO another save vs enchanted/mind control with a +2 morale bonus on save.

HOLY AURA: First, each warded creature gains a +4 deflection bonus to AC and a +4 resistance bonus on saves. Unlike protection from evil, this benefit applies against all attacks, not just against attacks by evil creatures. Second, each warded creature gains spell resistance 25 against evil spells and spells cast by evil creatures. Cotton continues to silently babble, as Grindar rushes forward in hopes of sinking Cyrchwr Mawr into this last enemy, while using improved vital strike. He hits AC 37 for 25 damage plus 4 holy and 5 flame.

With Armand healing faster than this treadle is doing damage, Trellus feels a lot better.

The party focus all firepower on the arcanotheign. It's built like a block of granite though and is resistant to a lot of damage. Elyngael will be pleased to know that this is the last of them.

After all of the attacks it is just about dead, when it sends two last burst of energy at Trellus. (Hit TouchAC31,42. Trellus takes 29pts damage)

After that last, desperate attempt it is no match for what comes next. The inevitable physical assaults of Trellus, Elyngael, Grindar and the treant, supported by Armand's healing, Osul wild magic, and Mordiark's gold dragon (that didn't have particularly great luck on it's attacks).

Things go quiet when the last arcanotheign falls. There are a lot of cuts and bloody wounds to heal, and many nasty effects were delayed thanks to the blessing tattoos. There is also the matter of Cotton. She's still insane!

Cotton has a moment of clarity, and Grindar runs over to her. "Friend Armand, are you able to fix Cotton's mind? I fear, without your help, she will be permanently confused, as it seems she has been magically driven insane."

"Heralds?!?" Trellus replies incredulously to Osul. "You mean something worse is coming?"

The blond man swivels his head about, seeking the next threat.

To Grindar, he replies, "A Heal spell should do it. Don't know about Armand, but I don't have that pick on the loom today. We might need to figure out how to contain Cotton until tomorrow."

Armand nods to Grindar. "I used all the Heal spells I prayed for earlier today, but I think I have it within me to summon up one more try."

Armand spends a hero point for recalling a spell and then casts Heal on Cotton.

"Now we need to assess things on ourselves and find out where the hurts are and what can be fixed." Armand looks everyone over everyone trying to see how bad it is. Heal check 23 (d20+15)

Armand is unscathed from battle, with no ability loss or hp loss. However, spells are medium and channels are low.

OOC DM- Armand will level up over the weekend. By the way since I'm no longer a DM I'll be removing the Seed Glove Legacy Item. Maybe it disappeared in transit.

Healers, Brawn is down 4 con, Elyngael is down 2 con. I didn't tack on Armand's channel healing the last two times so HP wise Elyngael is okay.

"Why do you think those things were heralds? And heralds don't mean something more is coming, being a herald could also be someone bringing news." Elyngeal will look around the clearing to see if the ethereal creatures dropped anything useful. Perception d20+31=33 (assuming I still get the +4 for favored terrain).
