It's still fun... no?!?

Slowly it starts to sink in that the two missing children are presumably dead... Rattlebones realizes none of the spells to locate them succeeded and the Tree herself informed Vamir the twigs are no longer with you... Whatever killed the pony El confirms was something powerful...

Armand confirms no one has gone into the House of Horror yet and call out for whoever is in charge of this attraction... no one answers... the ticket booth is empty...

From his vantage point Owen casts detect magic and looks over the House of Horror... he only notices a lingering aura...

Atlas voices the grim thoughts many were probably thinking already. He's ready to enter the House of Horror and asks Fuand to join him. The mighty Ogre stands there violently shaking his head... "Fuand not go in there... " Then he brings his large head close to Atlas's... "You don't tell anyone but... Fuand is afraid of the dark.

Then Fuand says : "I will go look for Fransisco... the Circus owner and see what he knows about all this. He's a good guy..."
Fuand hurries off... Atlas notices the mighty Ogre stays always in the light...

Finnan though is eager to go with Atlas into the House of Horror. So are 'Osul and Vamir...

Darkness has settled around the circus area. The missing children are still in your head but you do realize they are most likely dead... no one will dare speak those thoughts but where's the creature that killed the pony...

Atlas, Finnan, Owen, Vamir and 'Osul are entering the House of Horror.

Rattlebones, Elyngael and Armand make some perception checks please...

Miles rallies some people to start looking around the circus grounds...

Armand really begins to wonder what's going on. He dimly recalls a novel he read once called "Something Wicked This Way Comes". He takes out his glaive and casts Light on the blade to help out in the dimming light.

He continues to look about and asks about the mother. "Who is the mother that is missing these children?" He begins to wonder if this whole thing could be some sort of scam, part of him not wanting to believe that something would slay children.

Elyngael is with Armand. "I agree that something strange is occurring here. Normally there would be a distraught mother crying and screaming for her missing children. Something must have corrupted the Tree. It tells us that the twigs are no longer with us which we all think refers to the children. But how would the Tree be involved in missing children? This cursed carnival has brought its curse to our Tree!"

Preparing to go into the House of Horror with the others, Yurneshi wants to know if anyone knows the layout of it. Since the one who runs the House is not here its doubtful anyone else has a good idea of what to expect. Still it seems a few people who have conquered the House of Horror earlier came back because of the banner

Its just a set of corridors and rooms that you go through sequentially. , one says, [b[There were no side tracks or anything. You simply go from one room to the other till you are back outside I guess its very scary for kids but well its fake you see but it did smell awful in there [/b]

Armand begins to wonder what exactly is going on here and recalls a novel he once read. He and Elyngael check to see where the mother is shes still standing there unable to act she looks bewildered and frightened. But shes not screaming or anything if that is what you would have expected.

When we get out of here then?, Osul says after hearing the info on the slain pony.

Finnan and Atlas finish their conversation with Fuand. With a bit of a laugh they say goodbye to Fuand before venturing into the House of Horror. Fuand nods and walks away.

Vamir, Rattlebones and Owen keep an eye out and prepare to go into the house as well.

Just as you enter you hear some commotion coming from the Circus area people are running away.

Vamir steps back and looks at the tent, "If we cut the ropes to the stakes would 'Osul, or all of us who can fly be able to lift the canvas? If so we can just look in and not have to walk through the haunted house." Vamir turns to look at the crowd, but doesn't have knowledge religion.

Armand is alerted by some commotion over yonder. Knowledge Religion 26 (D20+17) So unless it's rare, I should be able to identify up to a CR 16 undead and tell what it is.

He immediately shouts, "GUYS WE GOT UNDEAD COMING THIS WAY!" To Miles, "Get these people to safety." Armand advances one move toward the undead....range? collateral damage? got lots so spells and they have pretty good ranges.

Neshi gets a whiff of the inside smell just about the same time the others point out the undead moving toward the center area..

"Ok everyone I think we have a target at this point. Any of you all know how to identify the type of undead or have a way to destroy them without endangering innocents?"

Atlas feels the nudge from Finnan and turns to look. He takes a moment to think through it and then reacts, "Finnan, I don't know what might come from this House of Horrors, so I don't want to leave our back exposed. Keep an eye on it while we see what awaits ahead." To the others he says, "It looks like they're coming our way, so no need to leave Finnan by himself. Let's form up here. Armand, you mind taking the lead? The undead seem like a topic you might know a bit about." Atlas throws a wink in for good measure.

Atlas nods at Neshi after the spell, "Nice thinking there Neshi!" He then takes a step up next to Armand, preparing for the undead to arrive. "It seems strange that they are just walking towards us and not attacking anyone. Shall we parley...with my sword?" Atlas laughs out loud, unable to help himself.

(Sorry folks I was out of town yesterday. If all posts get in before Sunday Ill make another post this weekend)

While examining the House of Horror Vamir suggest simply lifting the whole tent rather than venturing in the dark looking for more trouble.( Not a bad thought actually! compliments on your creativity of solving the matters at hand.)
However then he notices the undead that are approaching. They are still over 150ft away but well they are on their way
Osul too likes the idea of lifting the tent but right now you have more urgent matters. The fact that it is becoming harder telling the difference between the distractions and the actual trouble is not only a disturbing fact perhaps theres more truth to it than you might think

We got Undead coming this way! Armand shouts. Miles now also notices them and nods.

Yurneshi hopes someone can identify them and find a way to destroy the Undead without endangering innocent bystanders.

Speaking calmly to Brawn, Elyngael readies her bow for incoming.

Rattlebones flies overhead. Approx 150 ft he estimates.

Getting a nudge from Finnan, Atlas watches in the same direction. But Atlas also worries about things that might come from the House of Horror! Neshi agrees and cast a web over the Houses entrance.

Like Rattlebones, Owen to takes it to the sky calling out to the townsfolk.

The Undead approaching are identified as nothing more than simply zombies
Now that everyone is paying attention to the zombies approaching several townsfolk are running away in the opposite direction.

Leon?!... Leon is that you!!, a young woman shouts if you trace her eyes you notice she is looking straight at one of the undead her husband perhaps? He looks about her age but the large cut in his abdomen doesnt look good

More people seem to recognise some of the undead!

But wait look at those two little kids near the front of the zombies dark hair a boy and a girl From the description Rattlebones gave earlier these kids must be Elsa and Jeddah!! Their mother is still looking in the direction of the House of Horror assuming her kids are still in there if the mother hasnt been hysteric so far she is about to become Their clothes are soaked in blood the slashing claw marks in their throats plant a sickening image in your mind that will forever haunt you as you close your eyes.

But thats not all

As the Wardens begin to realize the undead are coming from the circus, a large sized humanoid shaped mix of flesh, metal, glass, and wires, with a red crystal orb embedded in its metallic head walks straight towards you . DC 20 knowledge religion Highlight to display spoiler: { identifies the monster as an Iron Wight}

Miles shouts You take care of that thing well take care of the rest of the zombies As Miles is pointing straight at the Iron Wight you can only assume he wants you to get rid of the Wight

Not at all sure what he is seeing, Neshi take in all the metal and wires mixed in with human parts and grimaces as she sees the creature and the children and others it has killed.

Taking just a moment to collect himself, he whips off a lightning bolt that streaks right out a strikes the abhorrent creature and then strikes each of the other undead (up to 12)

Chain Lightning, 58 points damage, reflex save DC 24 for 29 points

Armand eyes the zombies. "Something wicked indeed." He looks at the monstrosity in the rear.

Knowledge Religion 21 (d20+17). "The front mass is zombies, but that thing in the rear is an Iron Wight, I've only heard vague legends about them. I believe we will need to use adamantine against it." He drops his glaive and pulls out his +1 adamantine hammer.

Then Armand casts Undeath to Death. Will Save 22 or 34HD of Undead is destroyed (13d4)
(range medium, 100ft+130ft, 40 foot Radius burst) He is targeting the zombies (since creatures of more than 9HD are unaffected).
As he finishes casting he will say "Gargul welcomes your souls poor creatures. Be with Lord Gargul."

OOC I'm assuming since there is no map that the Iron Wight is still at the 150 foot range, so it is not going to close this round.

'Osul shouts out to all and sundry, "HEY, AN IRON WIGHT!!!" and starts casting a summoning spell.

At the end of the round (hopefully) an augmented greater air elemental appears (55' closer to the Iron Wight, and hopefully now with most of the living away from it), and 'Osul while spinning his upward pointing finger in the air yells out in Auran Highlight to display spoiler: {"Sweep up the undead, and especially the iron wight!"}

Owen easily recognizes the Iron Wight, and tries to remember what he can about its abilities.

He realizes that it will be especially traumatizing for the circusgoers to see their undead loved ones hacked to pieces by Miles, so he swoops down and briefly confers with the Head of Security: "Miles, I'm going to put an illusion up around the regular undead. We don't want people seeing your men cutting down their family, even if they're undead. I'll leave places for your soldiers to enter without breaking the illusion; please quietly spread the word."

Then he soars upwards again and shouts "Powers of earth and stone! Rise at my command!" He casts a Major Image of a ten-foot high stone wall that encircles the regular undead. A set of four stone gates, spaced evenly around the circle, open whenever one of Miles' soldiers needs to pass through and then slam shut to foil prying eyes."[/b] Townsfolk and circusgoers must make a DC 20 Will save to disbelieve the Major Image.

Vamir shakes his head, and pulls out his broom. "Melzat, stay out of the way, and for goodness sake be safe!" The witch casts spectral hand causing 1 point of damage and flies 30 feet up the better to observe the field of battle.

Atlas spares a look back at Finnan, "Sit tight my friend, we're about to find out what this is all about. Granted, I may have to take a pee break by the time they get here, but Armand has it covered if that happens." He smirks at Finnan and then moves to make sure that as the undead approach they cannot hurt Armand without going through him, while also giving Armand a clear line of sight for talking to them should they be so inclined.

(There's no map on this one as there's but one enemy - if you do want a map let me know and I'll prepare one.)

The Wardens quickly identify the monster as an Iron Wight. Armand advises to use adamantine weapons against it.
Yurneshi is the first to act... The Iron Wight is struck hard by the lightning bolt... it crackles through the wights body and then shoots off to the zombies nearby. The Zombies that are hit simply vapourize... the wight attempts to dodge the bolt but fails (Ref Save 17 - failure). While the bolt already was particularly powerful, it seems to hurt the Wight even more...
Armand shows mercy on the zombies and tries to gather them in Lord Gargul's realm. Between Armand and Neshi no more Zombies are threathening you.

Hoping to bring an augmented air elemental to the carnival, 'Osul begins his summonning spell. (The Elemental will appear at the beginning of next turn as it takes a whole round to cast the spell - as it appears it will act immediately)

"That weasely barker had better have my refund ready after this, or I will put the fear of the Light into him.", Rattlebones mutters as he flies up in the air buffing himself.

Waiting for the Wight to come closer Elyngael takes out an adamantine arrow...

Owen does not want to plant haunting images into the minds of the circusgoers. So he conjurs up an image of a ten-foot high wall. Most of the people fo OHHH and AHHH as they witness what is happening.

Like Rattlebones, Vamir too takes it to the sky.

The Warden melee fighters Finnan and Atlas sit and wait for the Wight to come closer. Already their magic weaving friends are eating away at the monster so it's rather uncertain how much of the Wight will be left before it gets close.

Furious the Wight trashes forward over the dead undead. It makes a double move closing range to 30ft from you (who's in the frontline and who's in the read?)
Elyngael shoots of her readied arrow as soon as the Wight comes within range. (please roll the readied arrow prior to your next turn)

Vamir shrugs his shoulders, and points one finger at the wight causing a wall of thorns to encircle the undead. (The wall is 13 10x10x5 foot cubes so 10 foot thick on the sides and behind the wight, and 20 foot thick in the front if my math is correct).

'Osul shouts to the newly summoned elemental in Auran, "Typhon, kindly spin-up, pick that up and drop it as far as you can away from us?"
Reflex save to avoid slam damage and a second reflex to avoid being sucked up into the whirlwind. Typhon has plenty of movement to attempt several times if required.
"Stand your ground? Anyone?"
He spends a HP for an extra standard action, and where the ironwight ends up, 'Osul (Lightning Lord) calls a lightning bolt on it SR:26, Reflex save for half damage, before spending the round casting Call Lightning Storm. Effects: next round.

The Iron Wight closes range fast. Elyngael lets fly her readied Adamantine arrow from her shocking Longbow... bows don't come any better when facing a Wight as not only does the Adamantine goes right through the damage reduction, the shocking damage also does more damage than it normally would!

Neshi is pleased to see his lightning bolt do so much damage. So he follows up with a second one!
(Forgot the Wight's spell resistance. Please make a caster level check vs DC21 for the spell to be succesful)
If the spell penetrates the SR21 : Ref save 32 succes : damage 17+50% = damage 25HP


Hoping to stop the advance of the Wight Vamir conjures up a Wall of Thorns around it. 10ft on the sides and back. 20ft in front. Upon touching or going through the Wight takes 2HP damage per round. Without any dispelling magic the wights only option is to try and pass through the briars. STR check 27 vs DC20. The Wight moves to the sides and manages to move 5ft into the wall. As the wight moves into the briars it takes 2HP damage.

Elyngael shouts a second arrow. This one though misses the wight.

Struggeling to get out of the briars, the Iron Wight screams in rage... since the Wardens have managed to cast spells penetrating the Wight's spell resistance it has sustained massive damage so far but it just seem to keep on coming. No parl for this creature!

Noticing Atlas is not paying attention to the hammer he is offering, Armand casts holy smite at the Wight! (Will save 17 - failure - OMG the dice are against the Wight) and asks Rattlebones to keep an eye on the Circus...
Vamir observes from his vantage point.

Neshi truely is on a roll! The thin green ray hits the Wight (fort save 29) and... is entirely disintegrated leaving behind only a trace of fine dust...

Owen thinks over his options...

Trying to make it even harder for the poor Wight Elyngael casts Engtangle on top of the briars... (ref save 29 - success - if even possible inside the briars)

Following Armand's advice, Rattlebones keeps an eye on the circus...

Seeing how lightning bites through the Wight with such efficiency, 'Osul adds some more... (ref save 30) However the Wight is unable to dodge the second lightning bolt... (ref save 24)
The Air Elemental also keeps harassing the Wight. (ref save 1 20 / ref save 2 30). The Wirlwind damages the struggeling Wight but is unable to pick it up... (without rollinf the whirlwind does 11Hp minimum was it sufficient to get the Iron Wight on his kneed...

Atlas and Finnan watch as the Wight drops down...

The Iron Wight stops screaming. The quiet then is deafening... the people around you shuffle from one place to the other... the undead townsfolk lie motionless...

Atlas looks about to see if anyone notices that he's covering for the fact that he didn't see or hear anyone say anything about the hammer. The Wardens are quick to congratulate one another. Armand compliments Neshi's disintegrate spell. Then Armand asks for Owen to have the elemental lift the House of Horror.

Impressed by his own spells Yurneshi thanks Eberyon for his powers.

So far Rattlebones didn't spot any suspicious bystanders. Elyngael gathers the people together. You can hear cries when some find the mutilated remains of their relatives. Vamir is mostly concerned about the well being of the townsfolk.

'Osul stears the Air Elemental to lifting the entie tent of the Haunted House... Finnan and Atlas prepare for something or someone to come out of the House of Horror.

Just thought I'd interrupt for some clarification. Iron Wights are undead, not golems. Undead may or may not be under the control of someone else, while golems are usually automatons. Armand, and I believe Osul, properly identified the creature, so this is something your characters would know, though it's easy to miss as a player.

Atlas watches the test go up as well, but when he hears Finnan laughing he looks over at him and punches him...in the arm, and not that hard, but hard enough to make him feel it. "Like you've done anything more!" Unable to help himself, he begins to laugh as well. "Hey Armand, I was off my game a bit there. Can you scare up another so that I can show Finnan how to fight?"

After a few moments Atlas remembers that some kids have likely died. The reality of it abruptly stops his laughing.

Even in situations like this Finnan tries to keep up the spirit making jokes with Atlas. As they both watch the tent go up, the fighter is amused at first but then he realizes some of the kids must have died as well That reality stops his laughing.

Vamir spends some time caring for the crowd. Both residents and strangers are here praying and weeping together. As he does, Melzat runs up to him. Owen frowns at the dead zombies. Tending for the dead Vamir finds the missing children their mother in a state of shock on her knees next to them. Shes not even crying

Whatever transpired here is very confusing for Armand he hopes to shed more light on the situation with a True Seeing spell. Neshi and Osul keep an eye out for things of interest If things were vague before they seem to stay that way (DM checks: 40 (nat 20) vs DC20 and 39 vs DC37 success)

Elyngael decides to separate the residents from the people linked to the carnival. The ones who do not live in Tree are herded towards Atlas. Rattlebones too hopes to get more clues about this place he lands his broom next to the fallen Wight and casts Detect Magic. The Wight isnt magic nor is its gear (and like DM Jeremy pointed out its not a golem) but among the crowd a powerful aura can be felt

Which implies to us that these people were INSIDE the House of Horrors because that's where we were looking and you said floor, the zombie attack was outside of tent area and thus should have been dirt or ground. (DM Steven : Im first going to address Roberts post and mail concerning the House of Horror

Please know this was/is meant to be a horror style module and, horror is not all about blood and gore. More often its about not knowing your enemy not knowing where to look for danger when or where it will strike. One of you said it correctly in the past few weeks its been difficult to see the actual from the distractions. You have had a few clues and several distractions.

In this case I apparently have to give away one of these distractions as the Horror House is nothing but one of those. The children missing near the house. All to make you anxious to go inside while in fact the danger is elsewhere. Even the children and their mother werent but a distraction for setting the scene and to make you look in all directions
The confusion about soil, dirt, floor is only to blame for me not being native English and often missing the richness and subtle difference in the English language but thats a sorry excuse.

Let me summarize:

A) Sensing your frustrations I have to give you this. Theres nothing dangerous inside the horror house. Never was, never will. The horror house is but a distraction. If you would have gone inside I would have described a visit to an actual house of horror. I indeed havent described the house once the tents gone up as I wasnt expecting you too look much longer in that direction since the zombies didnt came from that direction ah yes it could have been just another distraction in this case it wasnt.

B) The music is not a clue at all I always love the music when I visit a house of horror. The dark sinister sounds that accompany the macabre images or displays. The manikins, the skeletons, the fake blood often it all comes alive thanks to the music. In this case, youve just slain a bunch of zombies and an Iron Wight I just felt the music was most fitting that scene the music wasnt in the module just me trying to set the scene.

C) There is indeed a magic aura that you have spotted in the crowd and Im well aware of the True Seeing and Detect magic spells that were cast. I will gladly explain all this when we are further in this module.

I hope this addresses your frustrations. Admitted it WAS my intentions to cause confusion and, like you said, to make you wonder what is actual and what are distractions it was NOT my intentions to make you feel bad or frustrated. If that is the case I apologize)



Assuming Rattlebones informs his friends about the magic aura, Neshi casts an additional protective spell on him. Hopefully they will pinpoint the aura soon

Getting the hint from Rattlebones, Armand complements his True Seeing spell with an additional Detect Magic He starts looking at the House of Horror and then slowly scans 360 the House gives no clues but as soon as he looks into the direction of the carnival people he as well can sense the magic aura that hides among them. As Armand scans the crowd, Owen flies over the crowd looking for someone suspicious. Theres not something that really looks out of place nor does Armands True Seeing shows anything out of the ordinary.

Then Armand projects his voice loudly ordering everyone not involved with the carnival to leave the place and those that are involved with it to stay around. It takes some time for all the Tree residents to leave the place. Most of the carnival people where already rounded up by Elyngael earlier. Atlas keeps an eye on the carnival group. For Armand and Rattlebones the magic aura they spotted is still among the group

Quickly now the irritating music is stopped. Elyngael, Osul, Finnan walk through the exposed house of horror. Now that the tent is gone and the music has stopped there really isnt much horror-like about it anymore. Theres a lot of fake skeletons, spiders, webs, blood, vampires and so on.

Vamir comforts the mother. Shes rather catatonic but still shows signs of gratitude as Vamir cares for her and her children.

Rattlebones concentrates and isolates 1 older looking man dressed in robes, leaning on a staff he emanates a strong aura

Armand begins to work his way through the crowd of the circus/carnival workers.
Perception 8 (d20+7) ugg bad roll, I assume it aplies to normal vision and picking up on body language for clues. Magical auras and True Sight things will I assume jump out more.

"It's time's like these I wish I would keep a Commune spell handy to speak with Gargul, or Speak with Dead so I could question the unfortunate victims." He shakes his head as he moves through the group.

True Sight will last 13 minutes, not sure what sort of time frame we are working with.
Detect Magic will last 13 minutes, but I can recast it if time runs out.

Atlas uses his loud voice to split the folks up. As he does so he looks for a few able bodied young men that are not part of the circus and sends them on an errand to find Milo, wherever he may be. "Ask him if he'll take charge of the folks from the Tree of Parting, merchants, travelers, and all. I'll circle back to the circus folks and see what comes of that group." With that, Atlas checks in on the circus folk and tries to determine their demeanor before he decides how to act.

Armand works his way through the crowd the strong aura he saw earlier clearly comes from an older looking man dressed in robes. Rattlebones too has him isolated and he flies straight at the man!

Elyngael doesnt know it anymore she looks at her friends for some clues. Odd thing is Rattlebones staring at one guy and flying straight at him. Look! Seems like Armand is fixated on the same person!

The old man suddenly acts surprised! He spins around as if he wants to make a run for it!

Neshi hears Rattlebones and also makes a move towards the mystery man!

Near the Haunted House Finnan and Osul are a bit disappointed about not finding anything immediately but they do not intend to give up easy.

While his friends have now isolated one older man, who is emanating a strong magical aura, the rest of the carnival people are herded by Atlas. Some are send away to finding Milo. The rest he checks before he acts. Atlas notices another figure acting a bit strange at the back of the group. Looks like that one is trying to stay out of sight. (stealth check 28 vs perception 30)

What do you want from me!?! the old man calls out as he holds up his staff.

Armand looks at the man for a few moments...detect magic, true seeing In Orc he quickly says, Highlight to display spoiler: {"Keep an eye out, he could be a distraction."} He hopes some of the Wardens can pick up on what he said. Again he thinks, "We really need some sort of code language."

Then he responds to the old man. "Well frankly some answers would be nice. You have to admit," Armand waves to the recent undead remains, "things have gone a little weird with your circus. What is your position with the circus? Can you explain any of what's been going on here? And perhaps more to the point why do you radiate such strong magic?"

With all the recent distractions Armands on edge. Perhaps the old man emanating a powerful aura is also just a distraction?! Having a couple of spell monitors active he hopes to see the actual Detect magic shows a powerful aura emanating from the old man no doubt about that. The True Seeing reveals the old man as he is an old man No illusion, no polymorphed person, nothing like that but he could be simply using a mundane disguise true seeing would not help Armand to see through that

Owen gets Armands hint. He looks around and then focuses on the old man. If hes going to use that staff, Owen will have some counter actions ready. Elyngael and Rattlebones too have their attention fixed on the old man

Vamir had just about enough of this after gently squeezing the mothers hand he stomps straight towards the old man. Melzat trailing behind.

When Armand and Vamir speak directly and not very subtle at the old man, this last one eyeballs them with a puzzled look on his face. This is not my circus Sir Im Gunthred, the healer. When artists get hurt they come to me for patching them up again. I dont know what transpired here
Then Gunthred looks down at his own clothes and hands trying to see that magic radiation Armand mentions What magic?!?; he asks...

Not taking part in the conversation Osul is mainly interested in the staff Gunthred is carrying. It looks like a nice, wooden, quarterstaff often used by older man to lean on Finnan has nothing immediate to contribute so he makes sure no one will be able to sneak uo to them.

Could this be just another distraction!?!

Atlas however did notice someone else at the back of the group who's been trying to stay out of sight from his clothes you would assume he's a stable boy. Without making a stealth check Atlas tries to sneak up on this stable boy (perception 34) and attempts to grapple him.

Wielding a shield, Atlass Grapple check suffers a -4 for not having his two hands free. Your AC in the header corresponds to wielding the shield. That would result in a grapple check of 32 instead of 36.
Atlas has no Improved Grapple feature so is subject to an AoO
The stable boy waits for Atlas to come closer and then lashes out his hand to touch Atlas!
(Theres a small mistake on your character sheet. Atlass Touch AC is only 17 as both armor and shields are not taken into account for the Touch AC)

Atlas, having completely fumbled his half-hazard attempt to grab the person, flinches in pain as he feels the spell hit him. Not wasting any time, he yells to the group "Got a hot one here!", but sees that Armand and Owen have already seen what was going on and responded. He takes a moment to regroup and looks about to see where the thing might have gone.

HE is not human!, Armand relates as he finally sees the true shape of the stable boy. The cleric fails to identify the spell thats been cast just before this person vanished

Frustrated Elyngael asks : What does the welcome friends mean!?. Shes right! After all hes on your turf! She walks around the area to see if she can find something out of the ordinary and asks Brawn to put his nose to use. El doesnt see much, but Brawn quickly finds the trail of the Zombies that were here earlier that leads into the general direction of the circus

Up in the air, Rattlebones flies even higher hoping his detect magic radar will pinpoint the magical manifestations. Below the seer sees several magical auras but that would be the Wardens gear popping up on the radar. Theres but one other blip on Rattlebones visor the circus area the blip looks rather strong no way to tell just how many small blips are there

No spell cast gets by Owen. He identifies the Dimension Door that just has been cast. That also means the one that [Atlas[/b] tried to grab earlier is not that far from you putting all pieces together you could say Rattlebones big blip would be within the Dimension Door range

Osul gets his bearing and is ready to move.

Down on the ground Vamir looks at the old man who claims to be the circus healer, and asks the crowd to confirm what Gunthred said. Yes yes he is! several with the circus people say. What just happened to Frank?! someone else asks. You can only assume hes talking about the stable boy dont forget virtually everyone has seen what just happened at the back of the group between Atlas and the stable boy Frank.

Finnan and Atlas are ready and eager to move out. Question is, if you dare to stomp straight at the Circus an area that clearly emanates powerful magical aura(s) without preparation

Night has fallen. The sky is mainly open with patches of clouds occasionally covering a crescent moon. The carnival grounds are lit with countless candles and torches still but theres hardly any activity left Tree residents have been ordered to go home and the remaining circus people are huddled together. Gunthred, the old man, no longer emanates a magical aura Knowledge Arcana DC22 makes you realize the spell active on Gunthred was Highlight to display spoiler: {Misdirection. This allowed the spellcaster to misdirect the results from the Detect Magic spells that were cast earlier}

The path towards the Circus tents is also abundantly lit with torches so you would not have any difficulty to find your way in the dark.

OOC I'm confused and could really use a map of where everything is. What is the difference between the circus tent and the House of Horrors? Are these two separate things? What sort of distances are involved here?

Armand hears Elyngael shout as he racks his brain trying to identify the creature. "Hmm, maybe it's not an magical creature or an outsider. Maybe it's some sort of deity of devil."

Vamir pauses as the crowd vouches for the old man, and waits for him to answer Owen. Vamir chokes down his frustration and anger, knowing this is not the time to think with his emotions. Vamir looks at Owen, "Those of us that can fly should do so, hopefully limiting chances to flee, we should advance at the same speed as those on the ground. I can cast see invisible on a few of us, well 6 of us but that will wipe out my second level spells. I don't have a clue about lich abilities so any information there would be fantastic."

OOCThe site is both a traveling circus and carnival. Like any traveling carnival, there are a variety of games and exhibits, some are sheltered in large tents, such as the House of Horrors, and some are outdoors, such as the boxing ring. The tents/exhibits are laid out in city blocks much like any fair or carnival, with an exceptionally large tent at the end furthest from the Tree. This tent is the Big Top for the circus portion of the fair/circus combination. DM Steven has been referring to the Big Top as the circus tent, which of course it is, however Im thinking the small language barrier has caused some confusion. Again, for the record, the House of Horrors is just one of many exhibit tents, and as Steven has shared, the scene has moved beyond it, and you are now about three blocks from the Big Top.

Elyngael has an arrow at the ready as she tells everyone that Brawns is leading towards the Big Top.

Armand realizes that the stable boy everyone calls Frank, isnt an outsider or magical, but his religion check does identify him as a human lich (undead), but he can tell that this isn't any ordinary lich. He shares his knowledge with the others, then asks Osul to have his summoned elemental start ripping up the tents, as he casts air walk and takes to the air.

Neshi is worried about a lich, especially one that can cast dimensional door. He asks if anyone has any ideas, and asks if there is some sort of object they need to find associated with the lich.

Osul agrees with Elyngael, and likes Armands idea. He has Typhoon join as they head to the Big Top.

Owen asks Gunthred if he realised he was the subject of the misdirection spell of if Frank was messing with him as well. He cracks a joke with Osul about everyone messing up their names. He suggests they take a moment to form a plan.

Vamir is satisfied that Gunthred is innocent, He suggests that those who can fly should, advancing at the same speed as the ground crew. He asks if anyone has any ideas about Lich abilities.

Rattlebones looks to see if he notices any visible signs caused by the dimensional door spell.

Finnan isnt overly concerned about dealing with a lich.

Atlas makes it clear that the lichs touch hurts. He wonders what Owen and Osul are up to.

Some of the party suggests making a plan, while Armand, Osul and his elemental friend join Rattlebones in the air. From their birdseye view, Armand, Osul and Rattlebones see three bandage wrapped humanoids heading in the general direction of the rest of the Wardens. Rattlebones didnt see any visible signs created by Franks Spell.

Gunthred answers Owen saying, I didnt even know Frank had any magical abilities, and now you are saying hes a lich, what is this world coming to! Of course I didnt know he was using a misdirection spell, I m not sure I even know what a misdirection spell is!".

OOC Not sure how much Armand's 32 knowledge Religion will allow him to say about the lich.

Armand replies to all, "Yes a lich can be pretty hard to kill permanently unless you know where its Phylactery or soul repository is kept. But we can still destroy this body and buy some time. It is probably going to have resistance to non-magical, non-bludgeoning weapons. So put away your sharp weapons. Also I'd avoid cold and lighting spells." He contemplates for a minute. "I'd say not everyone needs see invisible, maybe one person in the air. Otherwise maybe beef up the fighters, but don't blow all your spells doing that."

At his raised elevation he spots the three bandage wrapped humanoids.
Knowledge Region 25 (d20+17)

"Ah Geez. Now it looks like he's got some mummies coming up. We don't want to deal with that disease hit so maybe a fireball would be nice over there." He points toward the mummies. The he says quietly to the party, "I sort of have a plan, I would like to keep my hammer. I plan on going toe to toe, with Righteous Mightsee spell on page 335 of book, and Holy Swordsee spell on page 297 of book cast on the hammer, and use Ward against death. 30ft aura protects against death for (rounds=lv) immune to death effects, energy drain, negative level drain"

He then casts Shield of Faith on himself as he moves westward 30 feet (still 20 foot in air).

Armand gives some insight on the basics of liches, and some advice, on how to deal with them. He recognizes the bandaged humanoids as Mummy Lords, and realizes that they can cast spells as a cleric, as well as channel negative energy. He knows they are immune to cold and electricity, and have undead traits. He wishes to go toe to toe with Frank.

Owen casts mass bears endurance on the party, as he tells Armand he likes his idea, and plans on taking out any casters first.

Elyngael and Brawn move a smidge and two bandage wrapped humanoids carrying spears turn the corner, heading towards the party.

Vamir gives Atlas some protection, gets his broom ready, then warns Melzat to be careful

Rattlebones believes that since Liches arent common creatures, he feels some divination spells may reveal somethings about Frank, as such he begins to head back to the Tree You should be able to get Tree in 2 rounds

Osul chuckles with Owen, then sends Typhoon over to the Big Top, while he heads over to the mummies, and begins to cast a spell.

The Mummies arent planning on just sitting back and letting Osul finish his spell. The orange and red mummies each cast a spell while holding up their unholy symbols. (DC 17 spellcraft Osul only) Highlight to display spoiler: { they are casting Dread Bolt} Something resembling arrows made of pure darkness fly from their unholy symbols, both hitting the Druid (one hitting touch AC 20, and the other hitting touch AC 21) Osul takes 18 damage from the first one, and 18 damage from the second one. He can make 2 (one for each spell) DC 17 will saves for half damage and will have to make 2 concentration checks to keep his spell. After the two Mummy Lords cast their spells, all three scatter. As the green mummy lord turns the corner, it sees Atlas, holds up his unholy symbol, and casts a spell of his own. "Did I not ASK one of you wizardly types to cast a fireball while those mummies are grouped?" Armand shouts.

When he see's the mummy's start casting he realizes his error. "My mistake those are not regular mummies, THEY ARE MUMMY LORDS. YOU DON'T WANT TO MELEE WITH THEM. Spellcasters need to take them out!"

So saying Armand air walks 50 feet north and casts Destruction at Orange Mummy Lord.
Fortitude save 23, if fail take 130 hitpoints damage. If save take 42 hitpoints damage (10d6)

his character sheet says favored enemy undead+6, nothing about arrow types so I'm assuming he doesn't have adamantine to get through DR.

Finnan moves forward and takes out his +1 Dark Wood Comp. LongBow Might +8. He shoots at Green Mummy lord.
To hit 37 (d20+24) only one shot since he moved this round. Damage 16 (d6+15, he normally has +9 to damage but added in his +6 for favored enemy).

Rattlebones has little that can directly affect the undead -- being an illusion and divination specialist -- and settles on helping to control the battlefield. With a twiddle of his fingers and a few arcane mutters, he summons a wall of stone to keep the orange mummy at bay (6 inches thick and 15 feet wide).

He then floats 15 feet south, maintaining invisibility, to throw off the mummy's ability target him.

Atlas growls when he hear's what Armand says, "You're always trying to keep me out of the fun. Fine then, I'll just do this..." As he trails off Atlas yells "Fly" and begins to fly across the ground at the Mummy near him. He performs an act known as a Spring Attack, artfully slicing at the creature while avoiding an attack of opportunity. As he hits the creature he shoots up and drifts back a little towards the group.

Someone removed 'Osul from the map!
Despite the hampering, 'Osul completes the spell. Below him two augmented ettins appear, and as a pair set upon or off after the Mummy Lords. Meanwhile, 'Osul catches up with Typhon, who should have already started work on the larger tent.

Armand doubles down on his request for a fireball, and warns against melee. He casts destruction on the orange mummy lord, who seems to shrug off some of the attack (rolled 25 for save)

Vamir tells Atlas that he is just fulfilling his request to keep him from meeting Gargul, then flies off.

Finnan fires an arrow at the green mummy lord hitting him square in the chest though the mummy is able to shake off some of the pain (DR/--)

Neshi delivers Armands fireball and all three are too slow to get out of the way and take the full blast of the spell, and then releases an elemental blast all but the red save for half

Elyngael fires off a barrage on the green mummy lord but notices even her adamantine arrows arent cutting through the DR, (they have DR everything) also she realized the shock seems to have no effect.

Owen goes invisible and then casts displacement on Atlas

Osul summons a couple of ettins and then joins Typhoon. you are in control of the ettins so you can move them next round

Typhoon and Osul begin lifting on the Big Top, and at first the stakes hold, but with a second mighty tug, the tent comes free, stakes, ropes canvas and all. However what they release from inside the tent, they may wish, they left alone for in the tent Frank is hiding along with the mighty Ogre Fuand, however something is very different about the friendly ogre. His skin is very pale, and he has what appears to be a fresh slash across his throat. Besides Frank and Fuand, there is also a colossal sized horde of zombies, and another mummy lord. Frank casts a spell, and a bolt of lightning shoots out of his hand hitting Typhoon, then turns and hits 'Osul. (chain Lightning)Typhoon and 'Osul take 37 electrical damage. Typhoon DC 32 reflex for half, 'Osul DC 31 reflex for half.

Meanwhile the original Mummy Lords each attempt to heal themselves and inflict pain to any within 30ft of them via channeling negative energy. The Orange heals himself and the Green for 18, the Green heals himself, the Orange and the Red for 21, and the Red heals himself and the Green for 17. Both of Osuls new ettins receive the blast of all three negative channels and take 18,21,and 17 damage they are allowed 3 DC 21 will saves for half damage (one for each)

Moving forward, Neshi turns and casts another spell this time centered on AC 18.

Black Tentacles - CMB 27 (this round) - CMD 28{/b} (for the purposes of escaping the grapple) - If the tentacles succeed in grappling a foe(s),those foes take [b]9 points of damage and gains the grappled condition. Grappled opponents cannot move without first breaking the grapple. All other movement is prohibited unless the creature breaks the grapple first. The black tentacles spell receives a +5 bonus on grapple checks made against opponents it is already grappling, but cannot move foes or pin foes. Each round that black tentacles succeeds on a grapple check, it deals an additional 1d6+4 points of damage.

Owen quickly casts Haste on the party, then uses his newfound speed to fly up and closer to the Big Top. Remaining invisible, he uses a burst of heroic effort to cast Feeblemind on the lich. It must make a DC 22 Will save to resist, at a -4 penalty if can cast arcane spells.

OOC had to go back and count, I had 2 holy smites on the google character sheet and I only used one, so I'm adjusting spells left.
Armand being elevated can see what 'Osul and company have revealed. He decides to inform the ground troops. "Hey guys, there's a huge zombie horde where the main circus tent used to be. Also looks like the lich has some other heavy handed bad guys helping him still. 'Osul is going to need some help up there."

Armand will cast his remaining Holy Smite at the zombie horde and the zombie master up there.
Holy Smite will save DC20, Damage 20 and blinded 1 round (sv = half damage and not blinded).

Armand then calls on his heroic reserve (spending only hero point) and casts Searing Light at the Orange Mummy Lord.
Searing light, no save, range touch 30 (d20+10) Crit, Confirm 12 (d20+10) not confirmed.

He then clicks his heels together activating his boots of speed and heads west. "I'm going on, I hope you can at least keep these mummy lords busy."

Vamir shudders and casts a quickened Spectral Hand with his Rod of Quicken. Vamir flies forward to Z23 and sends his hand out to touch Atlas's longsword, imbuing it with the disrupting property. Melzat moves quickly forward to AD31.

Disrupting Weapon: This spell makes a melee weapon deadly to undead. Any undead creature with HD equal to or less than your caster level must succeed on a Will save or be destroyed utterly if struck in combat with this weapon. Spell resistance does not apply against the destruction effect.

[i]Typhon's Reflex Save 23 vs 32 fails (HP: 149, Damage: 37) and Osul's Reflex Save 25 vs 31 for 37 more damage.
The Ettins Will Saves are (Pi-Rou: 15, 5, and 22!) for 45 damage and (Bay-Yon: 7, 23!, and 25!) 36 damage respectively. Each started with 85 HP.

The Pi-Rou Ettin takes a 5' step towards the Orange Mummy Lord and swings with its flails, (AC24 for 16 damage, AC22 miss, AC 23 miss, and AC20 miss), while Bay-Yon Ettin takes a 5' step towards the Red Mummy Lord and swings with its flails, (AC30 for 14 damage, AC20 miss, AC 31 for 14 damage, and AC24 for 11 damage)

To Typhon he says (in Auran), while pointing at the horde, "How many of those do you think you can get in the air at once? It will be time to go home when you're done.". Typhon goes Whirlwind on the horde, before returning to his native plane.

'Osul looks for cover, because hundreds of square feet of tent won't do. He drapes it over himself, dragging it behind him as he drifts 80' down map, lands, and assesses his situation.

Neshi casts black tentacles, successfully grappling both the red and green Mummy Lords, and lets Armand know he is thinking up something for the zombie hord.

Owen casts haste on the party then while invisible flies over and casts feeble mind on Frank, however, Armand must have forgot to tell him that undead are immune to mind effects.

Finnan lets fly with his bow hitting the green mummy lord 4 times.

Armand casts holy smite on the zombie horde, and the mummy lord leading them. They both failed, and are now blinded, though the blindness really has no effect on the horde (A horde is basically a Swarm made up of small sized or larger creatures) He then casts searing light on the orange mummy lord.

Elyngael lets fly again, but only hits once.

Vamir quickly summons his spectral hand then uses it to make Atlass sword an undead slaying machine. (BTW the spell should last 13 rounds)

Osul has his ettins attack the orange and red mummy lords, the ettins are able to hit them, but the damage seems greatly reduced. He asks Typhoon to whirlwind the zombie horde, and even though the Horde seems to have taken some damage from the attack it didnt have much effect on the overall mass of the horde. He then dismisses Typhoon and withdraws.

The Zombie Horde begins moving towards the Wardens like a massive juggernaut, destroying everything in its path. It rips through tents like they arent even there, leaving nothing but shredded canvas and broken poles in their wake. Though blinded, the light blue mummy horde has no problem following the horde as it wrecks its destruction.

Undead Fuand, with a command from his new master, uses his crazy land speed (70 ft) to move closer to the fray, carrying his master. While Frank casts enlarge person on Fuand.

The Three original mummy lords activate their great despair aura (a free action) anyone with 30ft mys make a DC 19 will save or be paralized with fear for 3 rounds. This includes both ettins, and Neshi. The green looks up at Atlas and a blast of fire and sand come flying out of its mouth in a 40 ft cone hitting him for 16 fire and slashing damage, DC 19 reflex for half. The red mummy lord does the same towards Neshi blasting him with 29 fire and slashing damage, DC 19 reflex for half, and the orange aims his breath weapon at the two ettins for 20 fire and slashing damage, DC 19 reflex for half.

Shrugging off the wave of fear that brushes his mind, Neshi moves quickly and then cast a spell. causing the area below the horde and Faund, frank and the blue mummy turn to deep thick mud.

[b}Transmute Rock to Mud: No save: 26 10 foot cubes of rock. [/b}

A creature unable to levitate, fly, or otherwise free itself from the mud sinks until hip- or chest-deep, reducing its speed to 5 feet and causing a 2 penalty on attack rolls and AC. Brush or similar material thrown atop the mud can support creatures able to climb on top of it. Creatures large enough to walk on the bottom can wade through the area at a speed of 5 feet.

DM EDIT: Neshi still need to make the reflex save verses the mummy lords breath weapon, the damage is both slashing and fire.

Pi-Rou Will Save: 9 failed - paralysed, round 1 of 3, Bay-Yon Will Save 11 failed - paralysed, round 1 of 3. Effectively unable to make the subsequent Reflex save, they take another 20 damage each for totals of 65 and 56 respectively.

'Osul casts Sleet Storm on most of the nearby, approaching force. He then digs deep, drawing upon some heroic power to cast Ice Storm (SR Check: 26) for 8 points of bludgeoning damage and 5 points of cold damage. Seeing some support nearby, he drifts around to the next intersection.

DM Edit: its an area effect breath weapon (40ft cone) so displacement wouldnt help, as Atlas would still be in the area. Also as soon as Atlas gets within 30ft of the Mummy Lords, he has to make a DC 19 will save verses its active fear aura or be paralyzed with fear for 3 rounds.

Neshi ignores most or all of the fire damage sent his way and only takes a small amount of slashing damage from the Mummy Lord's spell as he hastily moves away Reflex DC 24 (forgot haste bonus).

DM Edit: Accordingly to the description in the state block, all the damage is both fire and slashing. It describes it as super heated sand

Atlas feels a wave of fear roll over him and an unnatural feeling takes over his body. He freezes in mid-air, unable to attack or flee, to afraid to do anything.

(I get that, and I'm not trying to be difficult I just want to figure out how much actual damage Neshi should take. 1/2 of 29 = 15 resistance to fire 20, so ignore or take half as physical non fire damage? )

For clarity on the Mummy Lords breath weapon, which does both fire and slashing damage simultaneously. Think of it like a weapon that does two types of damage at the same time, like the morning star, which does both bludgeoning and piercing simultaneously. If an opponent is immune to piercing damage when you hit it with a morning star, that has no effect on the bludgeoning damage, and the creature still takes full damage from the weapon.

Neshi tries turning rocks to mud, but you are on grassy ground. Though the grass is quite trampled from all the people. (Remember you are in the grassy areas around the Tree)

Osul casts sleet storm on the newcomers. Somehow the horde made the acrobatics check and can move at speed (rolled 18) However the mummy lord and Fuand did not. Frank made the check, but he is hovering about a foot off the ground, so he is unaffected anyways. He then casts Ice storm on Fuand, Frank, and the horde. Frank and Fuand seem to take the appropriate damage, but the horde seems undamaged. (DR Slashing and immunity to cold) the difficult terrain affects everyone but Frank due to his flight.

Atlas tries a hit and run attack against, but is overcome by its fear aura, and is paralized with fear. Luckily he is flying via magic and not wings, or he would have plummeted to the ground.

Rattlebone adds to Osuls sleet storm, this time the horde failed.

Armand gives some much need healing to Osul

Finnan keeps firing at the green mummy lord, as he hasnt anything else to do. He hits it all three times. (sorry about not transferring the monster stats, they were in my write up in docs, but somehow I failed to transfer them along with everything else. As far as the Bear riding, unless Finnan gains a lot from riding I wouldnt worry about it. If he does gain something, we can ret-con it that he is riding Shepa)

Elyngael also keeps firing at the green mummy. She hits three times, but only one of the arrows seems to have any effect.

Owen gives himself some stone skin and tries to come up with a plan.

Vamir tries turning the orange mummy lord to stone, but the creature is able to shrug it off (rolled 25). He lets everyone know that Atlas may be in trouble.

With a sigh of exasperation, Frank grabs Fuands arm and casts a spell. The two powerful undead disappear, only to reappear a moment later by Brawn and Elyngael. The mighty undead ogre takes a swing at Elyngael with his ogre hook Hitting AC 38 for 28 slashing damage, and she must make a DC 19 fortitude save or be paralized for 3 rounds

The Horde and its mummy lord are unable to move this round due to the sleet storm spells.

The red, orange and green mummy lords channel negative energy to heal each other, and harm Atlas, and the two ettins. The orange heals himself and the green, while hitting Atlas and both ettins for 18 damage (DC 21 will for half). The green heals himself, the orange and the red, while hitting Atlas and both ettins with 20 damage (DC 21 will for half), The red heals himself and the green, while hitting both ettins with 20 damage (DC 21 will for half). Luckily Atlas is currently immune to negative energy, which causes a howl of frustration from the orange mummy lord, as he is the only one who witnessed it.

Neshi drops a fireball on the zombie horde and its Mummy lord, and both take the full force of the fiery blast.

Finnan and Sheapa step up to Fuand, with Finnan unleashing the full force of his greatsword on the undead ogre.

Armand has some choice words to say as Frank dimensional doors with Fuand. He starts getting himself ready to face off against the Lich.

Elyngael turns her attention to Fuand and releases a volley of arrows, hitting three out of 4 times. She feels a sense of satisfaction when she sees her arrows sink into the undead ogres body.

Osul thanks Armand for the healing, then starts casting another spell

Atlas is still paralized with fear, but he realizes that Vamirs Death Ward spell just saved his bacon.

Rattlebones reminds himself that he cant be good at everything, like some mysterious thing known as a 3.5 druid, as he begins casting a summon spell.

Vamir tries turning the orange mummy lord to stone again, and again the fiend shrugged to off (rolled 26) (save your hero point, they dont have SR, just a decent fort save bonus)

An invisible Owen, drops a fireball on Frank and Fuand. Both take the full force of the fiery blast.

The Orange mummy lord heads south then channels energy to help his master. He heals himself, Fuand, and Frank 17 HP. Since Vamir and Owen never gave me their altitude, I gave them each a 50% chance that they were too high to be in the 30ft radius, and they both were missed.Also they would be out of range for his fear aura.

The green Mummy Lord tries to break free of the black tentacles, and howls in rage when he fails.

The red mummy lord also tries to break free, but is equally frustrated.

The zombie horde, and its mummy lord both make their acrobatics checks and are able to move at half speed. They head east trying to get out of the sleet storms.

Frank, not wanting his new toy destroyed, casts Harm on Fuand restoring 120 hp

Fuand howls in fury, after receiving Finnan and Elyngaels attacks. He takes a deep breath and then breathes out a 60ft cone that smells like pure death. Finnan, Sheapa, Elyngael, Brawn, and this time the dice included Vamir, must make a DC 18 fort save, or be nauseated for 7 rounds, and be sickened for 6 rounds after that.A neutralize poison will remove the nauseated condition, but not the sickened condition.

Nauseated
Creatures with the nauseated condition experience stomach distress. Nauseated creatures are unable to attack, cast spells, concentrate on spells, or do anything else requiring attention. The only action such a character can take is a single move action per turn.

Atlas struggles in the air, fighting the mental ward that is blocking his ability to move. It takes time, but moment after moment he gets closer, until finally he has broken free of the fear. It has left him shaken, but able to take action as soon as he gets his wits about him (next round).

Vamir gags as the stench nearly overcomes him but manages to keep it together, (Fort DC 18). Vamir struggles with the fact that the mummy continues to resist his spells and casts calcific touch on the mummy with his spectral hand (Touch AC 27, Touch Ac 29) and does 3 dex damage, and 2 dex damage. In addition, the mummy must make a DC 20 fortitude save DC 20 twice or be slowed. Vamir flies 30 foot up on his broom.

Neshi casts black tentacles on the zombie horde and blue Mummy Lord, stopping them in their tracks.

eOsul finishes summoning a little friend who immediately goes to work hitting Frank

Armand casts Blade Barrier around the zombie horde and the bleu Mummy Lord

Finnan and Sheapa both overcome Fuandfs breath weapon and then go back on the offense. Both Hero and companion take a massive chunk out of the undead ogrefs HP, but Sheapa fails to trip him. (CMD 44)

Elyngael does what she does best and continues to make Fuand into a pincushion. (The sickened condition would have followed the nauseated condition if you failed the save, since you passed, you donft have the sickened condition)

Owen tosses another Fireball at Fuand and Frank. Frank is able to avoid half the blast but Fuand takes the whole blast and falls to the ground still smoldering.

Atlas breaks free of the fear aura and takes a moment to pull himself together.

Vamir casts calcific touch on the orange mummy lord and drops his dex by 5, however the unusually healthy creature is able to shrug off the after effect.

Franks Screams in rage as his new pet drops to the ground. He flies 30 ft into the air and drops a fireball of his own on Finnan, Sheapa, Brawn, ELyngael, and Vamir, causing it to detonate in the air to hit the elf on the broom. Each takes 36 fire damage (DC 21 reflex for half).

The orange Mummy Lord moves forward, and attacks Finnan with his spear, but fails to connect. Due to his fear aura, Finnan, Sheapa, Brawn, and Elyngael must make a DC 19 will save, or be paralized by fear for 4 rounds.

The green and red mummy lords try to break free again, but again fail.

The blue mummy lord and zombie horde bothe try to break free. The mummy fails, but the juggernaut that is the zombie horde easily breaks free (rolled 39) The horde is able to continue moving at half speed through the Sleet Storms, and taking half damage from Armandfs Blade Barrier (rolled 26) (I created a new marker for the zombie horde, as the area of the original was so convoluted, it was just easier. There is only one horde.)

'Osul casts Greater Magic Fang on Tiny, and takes to the air for a better vantage point.
Then Tiny flails his tail at Frank again, with Power Attack, hitting AC 35 for 62 damage, before widening the aisle, headed up the map (a single move at half speed, assuming the tents are even less likely to hold up to the mass of Tiny, than they were to the Horde, who I'm guessing don't have Trample.)

Atlas watches the fireball explode amongst his friends and yells in anger. Having broken free from his fear, he flies directly at Frank and lashes at him with his sword. With a roar of delight his blade bites into the lich. Atlas looks him in the eyes and says in a growl, "Time to stop running from me you coward."

Reflex save for the fireball 31 (d20+15) He should have the ranger bonus feat of evasion at 9th level but he does not have it listed, no damage.
Relex save for the bear 11 (d20+9)
I'm spending one of his 3 hero points to make sure of the aura save, but cannot edit his sheet to reflect this, +8 to his normal +10.....
Will Save 34 (D20+18) for Finnan
Fortitude save 18 (d20+3) for the bear, he will run away.

Armand is still not fully prepped spell wise. "This is all going quite quickly he says." Never-the-less he knows he needs to get in closer to Frank if only to provide some protection for his friends. He enacts Ward against death (8th) 30ft aura protects against death for (rounds=lv) immune to death effects, energy drain, negative level drain. as he moves in with hasted air walk and rises to Frank's level.

True seeing and Detect Magic still going.
Light still cast on his glaive, but he dropped that way off to the west.
