Sir Henri tries his best to help the Drifter, "Sir, I know that I'm not much help, but every little bit of help is better that no help! Don't you think?" Henri is trying his best to help.

Fern goes over to the gate and helps to pull it up the best she can. However she cant get a good grip.

ooc: Hi everyone, I would like to remind you once again that Fern is NOT a halfling she is a human. I know that I play halflings in 90% of my games, so if you play in tap games or dirt city, and stuff you are used to my characters being halflings. but please remember that fern is human, and therefore people shouldnt call her a halfling, right now I'm ignoring it, but next time fern might get mad at whoever calls her a halfling.

(OOC:Just wanted to comment, people need to resort to the maps if you don't remember the lay out for the Fort. All rooms are roofed also except the fountain area which is open air.)

Hart moves to the top of the gate area and finds that the area up here is roofed and no controls can be seen. Other then the small expanse of roof that Hart stands on, up ahead is the courtyard area where the fountain lays. He sees nothing otherwise either.

Eiras finds that the wall is really smooth to be trying to climb. Trying gets him just a few feets up it before sliding back down. (Reminder that the only wall he would beable to get to would be near the gate.)

Aelanthir tumbles under the gate and is now in the inside. Aelanthir notices nothing out of place down the hallway here. A door is on each side of the hallway and a small glass covered area is embedded into the wall. It looks like a lantern like place or something.

Drifter chuckles at the help offered and shakes his head, "Thanks for the offer Henri sir, Fern and Mykell but I'm fine." With this said he lifts the gate fully now and holds it for a few moments before stepping to the side and just holding the gate up with both hands. His one leg straighens more now and he doesn't wobble at all. Drifter clearly for his lithe build and size is quite abit stronger then he seems to maybe there is something else about him. (spot DC16 to notice the silver hue under the skin of his arms as increased in darkness and his arms now bulge more.)

The gate is now all the way up and people can move in freely. So far nothing can be seen lurking in wait for the group but you never know.

Kashmari is watching the people at the gate, not Marek. (FYI: She is just asking a question, not being haughty or commanding. She is being neutral.)

Kashmari will move to the fore of the treeline, whether she gets an answer or not; wrapped in her Elven cloak she wouldn't be too easy to see against the woodlands.

If the rest of the group moves towards the gate, Kashmari will join them.

Tyal nods to Marek and smiles. "I think the lady has the right idea, all things considered." He takes off towards the gate as fast as possible. He does not want to leave Drifter in a defenseless position for long. That and he wants to get inside as much as some of the others, who went ahead.

Henri replies drifter, "We do appreciate your strenth. I'm greatful of your efforts, Thank You."

The paladin whistles for his mount to advance. He now enters the inside court. He will take a good loke at the fountain. But his attention will be Stables. He opens the big door on the stable on his left(west side of the fountain).
Looking for trouble. (at this time he has his sword in hand)

Okay everyone, I don't know if I made this to clear so here you go.

All rooms are roofed of course. The entrance area between the two guard rooms has a roof area over it to. The roof ends at the entrance area to the courtyard. I hope this helps.

Ceil, please note if your character walks clear to the west stable then you by passed two guard rooms. Do you really want to walk past them or did you not notice them on the map? Not meaning to sound grumpy or nothing since I know it might of just been missed but I want to bring this up so people know.

Moreless people the only open air place with no roof what so ever is the courtyard where the foundtain is. The gate area and between the two guard rooms has a roof over it.

Ceil: If you want Henri to move on to the stables anyway then just let me know.

If I read your post right, There is at least two players that went ahead of the paladin. So he is that attenative because nothing happen the the others that went in ahead of him.

Now the paladin is more coserned with the comfort of his horse, so he passed the two guard house (with the big dirty windows) He look into them and the door.

Passing the guard house and arround the fountain to the west Stable. he called his horse to him.(He has not open the door to the stable as of yet.

Now I thing that takes a full round, depending how far the gate to the stables.

Now if I'm in trouble, well slam it to me!!

Marek starts to slowly walk across, scanning the roofline and walls for any enemy movement as the others move across.

Marek will be the last one in, and switches to his favorite weapon, the 15' spiked chain when he does so.

After hearing from Marek she will quickly make her way to the gate, most likely at a sprint. Hopefully everyone still outside will take the que and make for the gate quickly as well.
Once inside she will start checking the nearest buildings for traps, enemies and the gate winch as well.

Eiras will hang back waiting to enter near the back of the group, ready to take a surprise shot while invisible if a target of opportunity presents itself.

Fern goes through the gate, but remains close enought to help hold it up so that drifter can go through, after all he cant hold it and go through it at the same time. "Is there anyway we can get this gate to remain open? I dont like the idea of being shut inside." Fern asks.

Marek stops mid sentence as Sir Henri moves into the courtyard to stable his warhorse.

"For the love of..." comes a mumbled curse.

(OOC:Yep, the walls surrounds the fort and is a protective barrier but otherwise the place as a whole is roofed except the courtyard area.)

The group advances on the fort as Drifter holds the gate open for everyone. Aelanthir currently is rolled into just the inside of the gate area but not into the hallway itself. Mykell stands just inside the gate area also.

Mykell, Aelanthir and Tyal all spot two small holes on either wall in the hall and believe that the floor between the small holes on each side of the hallway looks funny. However seeing these is a moot point since Sir Henri comes walking through and as he steps on the pressure plates on the floor 4 javelins shoot out of the small holes. (The javelins hit AC:28/13/29/26 Damage:4/4/7/8)

Once the trap goes off and before Sir Henri can move on, the door on the right side swings open and three rogue looking people come out. The front two that now block the hallway have a shortsword out and ready and have a buckler strapped to their free arm. Behind them is a another man with a crossbow held in his hand and ready to attack.

Ragnalfr hovering over the fountain can see down the hallway the group would be coming up and can see the thieves blocking their way. Hart has climbed up and over so is in the fountain area also (I believe by your post anyway?) In the fountain area Hart and Ragnalfr see that the fountain is running and has clean looking water running in it. Standing in the middle of the fountain is a statue of a knight holding a sword in one hand and a shield in the other. Growing along the sides of the fountain are small vines. Two each side of the fountain courtyard are a pair of doors to the stables.

(OOC:People who rolled a listen check DC:12 will hear the movement of the havelin trap as the mechanics of it reset to rearm.)

A few small notes. The hallway where the guards rooms are is wide enough for three people to stand side by side easily. The roof stands about 8ft high as to make it easier for horse and rider to come through easier. The enemies stand a half movement away from the rogues.

The line up I have right now is like this. Hart and Ragnalfr in the fountain area. Henri has moved ahead of everyone and is actually between the hallway area fully with Aelanthir, Mykell, Tyal and Fern just inside the gate. Drifter stands directly under the gate, holding it up. Marek, Kashmari, Eiras and Namfoodle taking up the rear as either on the bridge or close to it.

Kashmari is on the bridge just at the gate when the trap inside the hall goes off. However she isn't paying much attention to any sounds it seems (Listen 9). She does however see all of the enemies preparing to attack Henri (Spot 23)

Kashmari summons three energy missiles to strike each of the three rogues (Conc 43, DC 15 - no display occurs). The psionic projectiles look like large, sharp shards of ice (Fortitude save DC 20 for half dmg). Each missile will do 30 pts dmg each (15 pts dmg minimum). (Forgot to add the +1 to each die! Therefore 30 pts dmg - not just 23!!)

Tyal looks to Meric with a gauging look as he looks over the floor that spans the area ahead. He hears the reseting of the trap and put he does not spot a clear way through without maybe triggering the traps himself(listen 24 and spot 8). "You sure I could not cover him from here boss?" He pats the crossbow that is at his side and looks to the thieves. "Its not that I don't want to go across...just that the idea of being a pin-cushion does not appeal to me." He looks again to the thieves and the Paladin that is in need of help.

With a last look he charges across the area, trying to keep moving and not get hit by javelins.

Aelanthir pulls out a scroll and casts Spider climb on himself. Aelanthir then moves quietly on the wall (move silently 34 'nat 20') past the rogues towards the bowman. While moving along the wall Aelanthir looks for the leader of the group (spot 19.)

Seeing that the group is relying heavily on stealth he leaves his lyre in it's case strapped to his back and draws his repeating crossbow.

He begins what he thinks to be a stealthy walk to flank the ensuing combat.( Hide 9 Move Silently 10)

Sir Henri is trying to (pardon the expression) Kill time for the others to ready themselves. Will try to use Diplomacy on these rouges.

"Sirs! As the New Owner of this Fort, may I ask to whom am I addressing?" Henri will put his hand on the pomel of his sword.

Mykell moves back just alittle bit and takes a small run forward before leaping into the air, he sighs in relief as he jumps over the pressure plate area to avoid setting off the traps. He lands just abit off to the side and infront of Henri.

When Mykell lands his katana comes instantly to his sword hand and his sheath spins in the other <quick draw>, "Well boys, I'm afraid your traspassing here."

(OOC:A quick comment to everyone. My computer has gotten a pair of bugs in it now which we are working on getting removed so there will be no emails sent out from me.)

Ragnalfr casts shield on himself just incase the fight leaks out to him or if some unexpected vistor showsup.

Eiras finds a clear shot as his friends move and fires a arrow, hitting on of the shortsword weiling rogues.

Marek continues moving in to help his friends while calling out orders for people to move in and protect Henri.

Hart casts a spell and glances around for pits and snares but sees nothing in the area.

Kashmari fires off a energy missle. Her missles hit and look like they deal a decent wound to the crossbow weilder and one of the shortsword guys but the last shortsword person looks to of blocked some of the blow.

Tyal moves forward like orders to and once he hits the pressure plate another four javelins fire off. (Can hit AC:24/15/17/31 Damage:7/6/3/4)

Aelanthir uses a scroll to cast spider climb and begins moving along the wall/ceiling to possibly aid his friends, moving towards the crossbowman as he does. Aelanthir sees no one in the group that really looks like a leader.

Henri had moved forward abit just before Tyal stepped on the pressure plate so he is saved from getting hit again. While picking out the javelins that he got hit with though he tries to talk to the rogues.

Namfoodle continues to catch up with his friends, reading his crossbow.

Fern also moves to help aid her friends.

Drifter holds up the gate yet.

Mykell takes a running jump and clears the pressure plates and lands nicely, he has his weapons in hand shortly after he lands.

The 3 rogues looks less then impressed by Henri's speach and the two shortsword weilders move in. One moves in on Henri while the other moves in on Mykell.

The rogue who moved towards Henri slashes his shortsword at Henri while he moves his shield slightly as to help defend himself from any counter attack. (Can hit AC:17 and 26(crit AC:23) Damage:12/ 11 (Crit:20)

The rogue who moves in on Mykell slashes at him also and spits at him. (Can hit AC:13/27 Damage:13/13)

The rogue with the crossbow seems to be judging each person before firing a bolt at Tyal. As the rogue fires he speaks up, "You all are breakign into our hideout now leave or we'll kill you." (Can hit AC:28 Damage:10)

(OOC:Also sorry for not posting till today. We been having some difficulties with Grandma lately. We found out that she didn't tell us and she had a minor stroke around 3 days ago.)

Tyal feels two of the javelins bite into him as he moves but is able to turn the other two away with shield and morningstar. Finally getting to the soon to be fight he makes no move to remove the offending javelins, he has other more pressing matters.

He takes a bolt in the fleshy part of his right side and winces with the pain. He bites back the need to take a step back and heal. Instead he moves in on the rogue that Mykel is engaged with. His morningstar leading the step in with as much muscle as he can put behind it.

Mykell glances back at the others who are moving up or helping out as he keeps a eye on rogue.

The group presses their attacks on the rogues.

All the rogues were able to shrug off the worst of Kashmari's energy blast. However the rogues look to be weakened quite abit.

Tyal launches a attack on the rogue attacking Mykell and injures the rogue more.

Hart searches for more traps in the courtyard but still finds none. From the looks the courtyard is not trapped.

Henri slashes the rogue attacking him and causes the rogue a nasty wound which bleeds good.

Mykell slashes his katana and sheath and is able to drop the rogue attacking him.

Marek uses his chain as he calls back to the rest of the group. Marek's chain lands a nasty blow to the one rogue's shortsword and it shatters.

Eiras fires off his arrows and drops the second use to be shortsword weilding rogue.

Fern fires off her arrows and is able to plug the crossbow weilder with 2 of her arrows.

Aelanthir is over top the crossbow weilder andi s ready to attack him.

Namfoodle moves to help his friends, slinking in the shadows very well to.

The final rogue surviving drops his crossbow and holds up his hands as he looks at you all, "This isn't worth dying over. I'll be going if you do not mind."

Tyal nods in response to Mareks idea as he looks to the rogue. His armor changes its appearance to his thorny armor that matches his battle maiden's symbol. "I would not mind bashing him if the need arises." He will make it to the guard room on the left side, hopefully he does not have to avoid traps as he does.

Once inside he will look for not only levers but for anything else that maybe in there as well. Other enemies, chests, cupboards and drawers that may contain things that would be of interest to the group.

The rogue nods quickly and reaches down to undo his leather armor, just as his fingers would touch the straps though a small needle slips from his sleeve and into his hand, as quickly as the needle slips into his hand he stabs it into his arm, "You'll find no info from me." For just a few seconds the rogue winces and shivers in pain and then just as suddenly he colapses to the ground. Clearly any info you might of beenable to get from him is not going to happen now.

On the left side which Tyal finds the door is unlocked, he sees inside the room that the place is rather dusty except for one table that is clean, a chair that has been used and a plate of food which looks to be a few days old. The only other things of note is a device on the wall that must be the javelin thrower.

On the right side where the rogues came out of Mykell or Henri will find the room cleaned well and desk where the rogues were playing a game of dice at. Against the wall is a device that is shooting the javelins when the pressure plate is stepped on also. On the wall is a small button also and below it is a small inscription that says "press to raise or lower gate"

There are nothing of real note in either rooms otherwise or maybe that you notice.

Kashmari and Namfoodle are able to disarm the javelin trap also.

In the courtyard Ragnalfr holds his position over the fountain and Hart continues searching for doors and such. Hart so far has only noticed the doors leading to the stables which are on the map and the door straight behind the fountain which leads into the fort itself.

From the looks none of the racket has brought unwanted attention or maybe it was heard and the enemy lays in wait. Either way there is only one way to find out and thats to explore your new home further.

As Mykell enters the one of the guard house, the paladin will check into the other. Henri finds nothing except on one wall is a divice that seem to be attached to the javalin trap. So Henri will shut it off.

Along the same wall there is a small button with a inscription "Press to Raise or Lower". Henri will press the button.

The paladin will stick his head out of the door "The Gate is lock in the up position and the Trap is disarmed. This side is safe!"

The group after some searching not only has the traps disarmed but from both guard house rooms they get the traps actually shut off also.

The group finds nothing of interest inside either of the rooms otherwise and besides the crossbow, 8 bolts and one shortsword since the other is broken, the slightly damaged leather armor the rogues had and the small shields you find nothing on them what so ever.

The two stables, you find a group of 4 horses in the left stall and just old hay that looks like it has been there for quite some time in the other. (Nothing else will be noticed here no matter.)

Hart listens at the door leading into the fort itself and hears inside the chit chat of atleast two people. Both voices are male and from the sounds aways from the door.

Marek waits to see if the door is booby trapped.

Eiras doesn't notice any hidden doors or traps anywhere either.

(OOC:Didn't really mention anyone else at the moment since other then healing and such the rest of you did nothing to really cause a action needed.)

Now that the gate is taken care of Drifter moves fully through the hallway and to the fountain area. At this area Drifter leans on his crutch as he watches everyone and relaxes, "Well, I do hope nothing was heard or anything. Of course I guess if anything was then we would of known about it now."

Tyal looks to Hart and nods as he listens to what is said. Looking back he also listens to Marek but is watching the others as well.

When Hart moves forward to knock on the door he steps so that he is right off to the side of the door with his morningstar aimed at what will most likely be the opening. "I like this plan." He will strike the first thing that opens the door from the other side to see who is at the door(hit: 18 and damage: 7). Afterwards he will call out into the hallway, while trying not to laugh. "Anyone home."

Some of the group looks over the door for traps and such and finds the door completely clean of any possible threat, the door even seems to be unlocked.

When it comes to deciding who is going to go in first it is well decided by Hart when he hits the door a few times with his staff and Tyal says his peace.

On the other side of the door some voices can be heard but the doorn ever opens, instead you hear what sounds like the rustling of tables or something of that nature being moved some or knocked over. A half growly and yet laughing sounding voice calls out, "Come on in and be welcome." Some how the voice doesn't sound like it means what it says.

(OOC:After talking to the player of Hart I found out everyone should be two levels higher then Hart. So, everyone will need to boost their characters to even this out. You will need to up your character's to 7th except Aelanthir since he made scrolls he will be abit behind. Everyone should have 300exp over 7th level except Hart and Aelanthir. I also been thinking of adding in I will call them Karma points, they can be used alot like the Woldian Hero Points but I want to know people's opinions on this.)

Appearently not finding anything interesting at all elsewhere she will eventually end up back with the others and will find somewhere to sit and watch as they figure out what to do with the door.

"Step back and be ready to defend against any attacks that might come."

Kashmari animates the door and commands it to open itself. With creaks and groans the open door "walks" in whichever direction it needs to to open itself.

Everyone prepares for the fight which they know awaits them inside the first entrance room of the fort.

As everyone prepares themselves Kashmari uses her psionic abilities and animates the door which swings open (the door swings inwards).

Hart summons his Harrier which enters shortly after Ragnalfr's fireball goes flying through the door way and explodes in the room.

Anyone entering or peeking into the room after the fireball and Harrier goes in will notice 1:that the nice carpet that was on the floor is smoldering and on fire here and there. 2:that tables that had been knocked over as defense and chairs are smoldering or on fire.

A pair of rogues lay on the floor quite dead with burns through and through.

The harrier has found someone or thing behind one of the over turned tables and is now attacking it.

Other then this there is no movements or noises in the room then the one fight currently. The rest of the room is hard to be seen untill entered.

(Fern: Other then the needle the one rogue stabbed himself with you found nothing else other then their equipment which I stated. The needle is simply that, a sewing like needle which WAS coated with poison.)

As everyone begins to go into the room nothing is seen or heard other then the fight the harrier is in. They do however see that the room is a nice tru entrance hall to the fort. The floor was carpeted in a nice and probably was expensive carpet. At the right side of the room is a small fireplace that currently is burning a few logs in. A few small tables stand at the side of the room and look unharmed, even the chess piece on one of the tables are standing nicely. Near the fireplace is also a staue of a knight, his sword is sheathed and a shield is infront of him almost like a defensive postion. From the looks the statue has no magical properties and has a faint dust cover which everything else in the room doesn't have.

Aelanthir however since he is go in and across the ceiling sees two rogues behind a couch near by, the couch smocking nastily from the fireball.

Aelanthir also sees another pair of rogues behind seperate tables that are on either side of the door leading deeper into the fort.

The two rogues who are behind the couch at the far side of the room quickly pop up and fire crossbows off. The first bolt fired heads towards Marek (Can Hit AC:11 *Nat:1* Damage:0) The second rogues shot is aimed towards Henri (Can hit AC:13 Damage:0)

The pair of rogues nearest the door stay hunkered down and now saying nothing. They haven't noticed Aelanthir either.

Kashmari has just passed through the doorway when Marek and Henri are attacked.

Kashmari will use "Energy Missile" (hits targets unerringly) to attack up to 5 of the enemy rogues (each missile will do minimum 16 pts dmg and maximum 32 pts dmg, save against Fortitude DC 23).

Since she can see in every direction around herself it might not be too easy to hide from her gaze. The other hiding rogues had best be as quiet as mice and as immobile as the statue if they don't want to get hit!

Fern fires on one of the rogues behind the couch and hits with her first and third arrow. The rogue looks unhappy but otherwise only slightly injured.

Henri moves into the room, readying himself for battle as he speaks to the rogues behind the couch. (Henri is within striking distance this turn now that he moved last turn.)

Hart moves in on the rogues behind the couch also, ready to strike.

The water elementals are still putting out the fires but have them pretty well contained now.

The harrier seems to be having alot of fun attacking the rogue it has found. The rogue looks to be having a hard time combating it with the dagger he has.

Kashmari uses a psionic attack and her missiles fly out and hit the two crossbow weilding rogues and the one the harrier is attack. Each rogue takes the missile hit cleanly and the one the harrier was attacking has stopped moving completely and the rogue Fern shot looks to be hurt pretty bady.

Aelanthir uses his wand of fireballs and sends a fireball at the two rigues nearest the door. The rogue to the left of the door looks to of taken the full blast but the rogue on the right looks to of excaped some of the damage from the fireball.

Ragnalfr hovers outside and debated on rather his help is needed or not at this moment.

Tyal moves in, ready to fight and laughing at the feeble attacks.

Eiras fires arrows on the other rogue that Fern didn't fire on. His attacks both hit and leave the rogue now looking as bad as his friend.

Mykell moves over towards the rogues behind the couch, as he moves he tries to threaten them into not fighting.

The rogues who Mykell tries to threaten into not fighting look to be in no shape to fight now as they are about dead and both only have their empty crossbow in hand at the moment.

The pair of rogues near the door however quickly jump up and one begins fiddling with a key to unlock the door to get out as the other shoves a table over to block them from arrows.

The paladin takes the stance of a hand to hand battle. Face plate down, Shield up ready for a bash and ofcourse his well sharpen new Sword.

Kashmari sees the two other rogues trying to excape. She sends a new volley of energy missiles towards all still living enemies (4 or 5 of them?).
Each missile will deal between 13 and 26 pts dmg depending on how lucky the rogues are; Fortitude save DC 23.

A shakily shot arrow richochets off Marek's armor and the stern man turns a glare towards the archer. A fireball erupts again in the room and energy bolts rip through the air past him. The rogues have already had enough, but Marek has never like rogues.

With a quick step and a powerful swing, Marek sends the 15' of chain hurtling towards the rogue at the door.

Seeing the two jump up and start to work on trying to get the door open Aelanthir takes out a scroll then casts Scorching ray sending it at te rogue trying to work the key for the door. (touch attack hit AC 19 dmg 14, no save)

(OOC:I'm going to make this combat round abit simple considering.)

Kashmari reales bolts once again and her brother sends a burning ray at the rogues at the door (the two behind the couch are being perfectly still since they are in surrender mode). With the hits of Kashmari, Aelathir and the arrows fired by Erias the rogues trying to excape are dropped dead. (For a small explanation on the arrow shots one rogue had to stand to work the key, hence the table would not be blocking him from arrows.)

Hart swings? at one of the rogues surrendering but his swing would miss if he goes through with it.

Marek however if goes through with his attack will kill on of the poor rogues surrendering.

Mykell holds his ground since the enemy is surrendering thats left alive.

Other then the severely scorched carpet the couch and a few tables the rogues were using which are scorched also. There is little in the room except the fireplace, the statue or armor, could be either, etc that was mentioned previously.

Kashmari now realizes that two of the rogues were indeed trying to surrender, but that doesn't really matter does it? They would probably just poison themselves like the gate guard did wouldn't they?

((Justin has one or two of the rogues survived? I interpret it to say yes that two had miraculously survived and were indeed trying to surrender. However Kashmari fired energy missiles at all 5 rogues (only 4 if one was already dead by round two!)and the missiles don't miss. *Chuckles* I guess we are being less civil because we think that they will just poison themselves in the end!))

As the rogue surrenders, the fey puts away his club and shrugs. "You do realize, thees place ees now oonder new ownership?" He grins at the other rogue not surrendering.

Loran makes life very hard for a surviving rogue, and playfully claws at his eyes.

The harrier ignores the remaining rogues and flies threw the wall into the next room(assuming there is one.)

Marek pulls his attack now that the men are trying to surrender rather than flee. The soldier moves quickly, stowing his weapon in route, and grabs one of the rogues by the front. Spinning the rogue to face a wall, Marek pushes the mans head and chest into the wall and kicks his legs to an overly wide stance. [Str check 20]

"Kiss the floor!" he barks to the other. If the man does not immediately move Marek will assist with a heavy hand to the shoulder and knee to the back of a leg. [Trip 24]

When the two are under control, "I want, how many, who's in charge and where we can find them. Cooperation will be taken into account."

Kashmari waits for the captured rogues to either start talking or to poison themselves. She glances around the room looking for secret doors, and/or small valuable pieces that might be able to be sold; so the coin from the sale can be used towards fixing up this run down fort. It is just as well to use the clutter found in the fort itself rather than personal funds to fix this place up!

Tyal shakes his head and leans against one of the walls. "That was over a little too quickly...I think that the force in this place would have been a little better prepared." He seems to have lost some of the fun idea from this little assault. It seems he had expected more.

Most of the group goes to handle the two surrendering rogues. After a quick search no poisoned objects are found on them and besides the crossbow and leather armor they have nothing else on them.

One of the rogues speaks while the other remains silent when questioned, "We can not tell you nothing. If the man who leads us finds out we talked and you don't succeed in killing him then we're as good as dead anyway." With that said the two rogues now stay quiet.

Henri is unable to move the statue and finds out it is a huma sized suit of armor actually. When Henri tried moving it though he finds that some of the dust on the shield is moved and exposes something but he isn't sure what yet as it's still covered in a thick layer of dust.

Searching the room turns up nothing else of value though. However the chess set on the one table looks to be old enough and worth something maybe. It is made of nice ebony wood and the white ones made of ivory.

As everyone is doing their thing a pair of unlikely figures appear in the room suddenly. One is a small man, even smaller then a halfling and has a complete green outfit and a pipe stuck in his mouth, the man also has a tam'o shanters (think I spelled that right) on his head with a four leaf clover sticking up.

However the creature beside him is a very large, powerfully built and battle scarred minotaur in a rabbit looking suit. The minotaur looks less then happy at all about being in the suit too.

The tiny man who most of you know from legends speaks up as he takes off his hat and slaps it against his knee and puts it back on, "Dang, looky here....finally find these here young'uns in a fort. Can't young'uns now a days stay put."

The gruff minotaur huffs and crosses his arms as the little man goes on, "Ohh me manners. Me name be Dirby and this be Mini Lop. We have a couple gifts to give ye and we be on our ways."

The little man reaches into his pocket and pulls out a ancient looking gold piece and tosses one to each person of the group before he winks and smiles, "That be a lucky gold piece, very old and worth a pretty penny in me own thoughts. Maybe more to it then ye think young'uns but yous must discover."

Mino Lop as he was introduced steps forward with a thudding foots step and pulls a backet out from behind him where he waves a hand over it and eggs fill the basket and he lays it on the ground, grunting. Mino Lop looks to each person and growls a comment, "Three eggs a piece are in the basket. Thats all so each should get three eggs." Mini Lop clenches a fist and growls, "Now watch your hands to...one egg be for eating...one of gold...but the last if you bite, may explode."

Hart by the way can get the idea that his harrier has ran into something but hears nothing at all through the walls.

Kashmari takes three eggs from the basket. She thanks the little green-clad man and the costumed minotaur for the gifts. Then she very carefully inspects the coin and then the three eggs (Appraise 22, 15, 18, 20).
(Needless to say she won't be eating any eggs until she knows for certain which one is which!)
If she needs to experiment on any of the eggs she will do it at range via psionics.

After appraising the eggs she looks to the two still living rogues and says,

"If I were you I'd risk answering our questions. If you don't cooperate then you might die just as surely by our hands as by your Master's. However if we prove successful against your Master and you have cooperated you might find employment working for us and a considerably longer lifespan. We aren't entirely without mercy."
(Diplomacy 12. Oh dear! Kashmari must be getting fed up with uncooperative rogues!)

Fern listens (while holding an arrow strung on her bow and pointed at the men) as the others question the rogues. She almost shoots the two guys who pop it but stop when they give out some presents. Fern will carefully look at the eggs and coins before inquiring of the minorabbit "How can you tell which egg is which and what does the coin do?"

Smiles at the odd duo, "Thank-you, Sit for your gold coin." To Mini Lop, the paladin rises to his feet (not choosing for himsels) extends Both cup hands to receive the three eggs. "I thank you also It's ben a while sisce I've had a meal."

Henri pot's the gold coin and the the golden egg into his pouch. And proceeds to eats the eggs.

Henri will bend and pick up the chess pieces, strainten the game table, pull up a chair. Then sets up the game piecies (Hopefully he'll fing all the piecies) As he goes so the paliden answers Tyal "Yes It was rather qiuck! Almost as if we were never needed!!"

Hart gives the two rogues one goodberry, looks at Kashmari and says to them rogues (entirely serious and no diplomacy required), "We weell not pay you, survival ees the payment. And eef we feel your going to upset the balance of the group, I weell kill you." The satyr's face remains straight and serious. There is NO mistaking that he's telling the truth.

Spirit pops the satyr on his head for saying he'll kill the men.

Loran sits atop the staff, staring a hole into the men.

Hart wanders over and looks at the eggs. (nature 17, spellcraft 17, survival 30)

"See there you go you helped already. A man leads you. That wasn't so hard eh?" Marek turns a big smile and tilts his head slightly. His voice then turns darker, like that of a stern parent about to discipline a child. "Private conference time."

"Kash, a little company please."

Marek grabs the one against the wall and man handles him into the courtyard. With a frim graps of the rogues back side and belt, Marek escorts him to one of the guard rooms and hurls him through the door at the far wall. [Str 18 check 12]

"Now we're gonna talk."
Marek will go through a series of questions.
'name' 'how long he has been here' 'how many more are there' 'are they bandits, hustlers or just some pathetic would be cultist losers'

If the rogue is wholly uncooperative, Marek is not above using the smaller man as a throw toy to help him with his memory.

Aelanthir accepts the eggs then carefully looks over the eggs.

Aelanthir will place the gold egg into his pouch then will set the other two into his haversack.

Aelanthir will tie up what rogues are still alive. When tying them up he will tie the thumbs togeather then the wrists, elbows, knees, and ankles. Aelanthir will then run a rope between the ankles and the elbows.
When Aelanthir is done he will sit down in front of one of the prisoners and start to slowly and carefully sharpen his daggers while every so often he will glance at the prisoner.

Tyal slips not only the eggs but the coin as well into his pack. He looks around to the rest of the group and then smiles at the rogues. "If you need any help...it would be a pleasure." He takes a seat from one of the chairs, after righting it. "Yes Henry...it seems we may have to wait and see in the other fights."

Mykell looks to the two weird people who showed up and excetps the gold coin and also the eggs from the two.

Mykell stuffs the gold egg into his belt pouch and puts the gold coin in a pocket on the inside of his belt for safe keeping. The other two eggs he puts in his backpack for the moment. He shrugs when the a couple of the others go to gain info from the rogues.

Well now. This is different, Ragnalfr thinks as he takes coin and eggs.

He slides them all into his sack without comment. It will be interesting to see if the two strange beings answer any questions or simply disappear.

Either way, the white robed wizard will wait, and investigate the items when time is not as pressing.

Kashmari and Fern look over the eggs and find out that the gold egg is easy to figure out since it is heavier then the other two. Fern and Kashmari also notice that the 2nd egg thats in a blue colored egg has a nice smell to it when they raise it up to look it over better. The very last egg, a deep red one has a strange smell to it and is very light. You notice nothing else odd design wise about this egg.

Marek and Kashmari along with a couple others go off to question the two living rogues. To everyones suprise maybe the rogues do not talk even after the throwing around Marek gives one of them. The only words later are from the rogue who talked abit earlier, "I can not tell you much that you want to know and keep my skin. Our boss has a way of finding out things and beatings are nothing compared to what we have seen already."

The rogue chews his lip before continuing, "Our leader is a very big a brutal man. He said he grewup here or was captured first and grewup here."

The second rogue glares at his friend and kicks at him (this is the rogue Marek has been beating on), "Shut up! If the "Ferendel" (translates oddly, meaning the word is butchered slightly in elven as butcher priest) finds out you spoke he'll cut the skin from you and hang you for the crows in the sun. Remember Trig."

"Your names?" Asks the satyr. "What form of worship do you and your leader take? Money, gems, nature, Gods?"
"Who else ees een thees place? IN the other rooms?"

Spirit gets out of the hood, feeling more comfortable with his surroundings.

Loran hasn't stopped staring at the men.
