Appolo slices into the spider that appears by Sly. His weapon strikes both times, drawing black blood from it.
Lorth spits on the spider that attack him and then slams back into it with two attacks of his own.
Sly bites back the pain and then slashes at the spider. His first attack is a good well placed blow that takes off a leg. The other attack draws a thin cut down it's side.
Tratain moves over and casts neutralize poison on Sly. Sly gives him thanks and the offer of a drink once they get out.
Huge spiders A&B&C&D&E&F are dead.
Spider4 is dead.
Spider1 bites at Lorth again, feeling the ebb of it's life (hit: 20, damage: 13, fort DC 30 for poison).
Spider2 snaps at Dylan again, trying to inflict him with poison not knowing that it is a lost cause (hit: 38*crit 28*, damage: 20*crit 28*, fort DC 30 for poison).

Finding them selves daown to only four in this Party,Sly prays for the help of Domi, even he is close to dying. His elven blood won't let him quit. He will attack any spider in his range of combat. Swish this way(ac32) and swish that way(ac16). he stagers, droping to one knee, droping his sword(hoping it has spider juce on it)and then he fall pron(hp-4).

Dylan feels the bite of the spider and is about to say something as he topples over. He dies gurgling on his own blood.
Sly makes his own series of attack as he feels his strength ebbing. He finds himself slipping to the floor of the cave, sword clattering on the ground.
There is a sudden clatter as a group of bones start pulling themselves together. Out of the bones are formed four skeletal warriors. They surround the group as the spiders back off.

Spider4 is dead.
Spider1&2&3 backs off from the skeletons not sure of what to make of them. They only know that they are former prey and now walking again.

Tratain casts a shield of faith on himself as he tries to figure out what is going on.
Sly lays on the floor of the cave and continues to be unconscious. His breathing is shallow but he still lives.
Lorth drinks down a potion and moves to Tratain.
Appolo moves over to the other two and smiling lets them know that he is still here as well.
The skeletons wobblw towards the spiders and surorund spider1. A slow process begins as they bring swords chopping in at the spider (hit: 22/11/16/13, damage: 6/1/5/7).
Huge spiders A&B&C&D&E&F are dead.
Spider4 is dead.
Spider1 retaliates on one of the skeletons as they attack it (hit: 26, damage: 16).
Spider2 scuttles back as the skeletons attack.
Spider3 scuttles back further as the skeletons attack.
[Someone do me a favor and slap Sly around a little after you get him on his feet. A -4 amount of hit points does not leave you dead, just unconscious. You actually have to reach -10 or beyond for that yo happen.]

Sly coughs a little as he tries to swallow the potion, muttering under his breathe about school.
Lorth moves forward and attack one of the spider3. His sword bites into the spider's flesh rending a large hole in it's side.
Tratain activates his boots of speed and starts to heal himself.
The bodies of Aramis and Dylan have faded from sight and are no longer in the room.
The skeletons press thier attack on the spider1. Swords cutting this way and that to kill it off (hit: 24/29*11*/24/15, damage: 7/3/4/4).
Huge spiders A&B&C&D&E&F are dead.
Spider4 is dead.
Spider1 is pierced from several sides and thrashes around a lot.
Spider2 scuttles back and starts up the wall.
Spider3 is struck by Lorth as he blindsides him. The rip in it's side spills it's guts out onto the floor.

While the spiders are being occupied with the skeletons you all make a beeline for the next room. Breathing a sigh of relief you look around and find another great hole before you.
[Ok, here it is once again folks. Do you want to go out and recruit new help or ocntinue on with only the four of you? I am still not sure if just the four of you can do the last battle or not, but if you pick up more players you will see two more round of combat. One normal battle and then the end, so that tells you how close you are to the final battle anyways.]

You make it down the hole with no problems and find a set of large doors before you. A quick test finds them locked and another puzzle beside it on a plaque.

The area seems to be very secure and nothing seems to be coming through that door anytime soon.

A good time spent resting see you all ready to take on whatever is behind the door. With a last look at the hole leading back up you all make your way to the door. You give another look to the door and find that the only way to open it is to answer the riddle.

Looking to the plaque that is beside the riddle you see nine gold bars with numbers on them. A closer look reveals the numbers; 10, 9, 13, 7, 15, 6, 11, 8, 14. You are not sure how many chances you have to get this right or if you only have one chance.

Having come to what could only seem to be a unamimous decision on the groups part. The plate with the number 9 is picked up and slid into the slot on the plaque.
With a rumbling the doors slide into the walls and you hear the roar of a giant crowd of people. The inside of the next room is brightly lit and there is no mistaking the general layout of it...it is a giant collaseum.

Entering the arena you feel the unholy aura of all the devils sitting around. It is not a comforting feeling or a comforting sight.
Sitting in the stands are hundreds of devils as you enter. Much to your dismay they seem to be cheering for you as you enter, but as you listen closer they are cheering because the game can begin. Standing near the altars is the devil from earlier and behind him are the three elf maidens that you came to rescue.
On the far wall on a ledge/shelf are three little statues of the princesses that appear to be trophies. The devil, pit fiend, spreads his wings and lets out a roar of rage that is tinged with amusement. His muscles ripple as he flexes his claws and then with one finger gestures you to attack. "Come...let the real test begin."

The devil stands for a few minutes as it waits for you to do something (2 rounds). With a below of rage it charges towards the group it's large sword glowing with fire.
With a huge overhanded chop it brings it's sword smashing down on Sly's head (hit: 33, damage: 22). You can feel the intense heat from it's body as it leers into your faces, smiling all the time.
The princesses scream in fear and for help as they hear the fight begin. They soon start sobbing as they realize that you are facing off against the devil that captured them.

Sly drops to his knees under the blow but is still good enough to fight, just needs to get back his bearings.
Lorth downs a potion as he calls for more buffing of the group to combat the situation.
With the activation of his boots he continues the boosting of the group for the fight.
Appolo slips behind the pit fiend and stabs him in the back or as close as he can get. His stabs are well place and do a fair amount of damage.
The pit fiend roars in rage as he is stabbed in the back. He swings around to face Appolo, his sword leading the way (hit: 21, damage: 22).

Lorth slams his weapon into the pit fiend, yelling as he does.
Tratain slams his warhammer into the pit fiend as well. He makes a good telling blow to the fiend, that rocks it.
Appolo turns to slash his own swords into the pit fiend untill he gets that better look. He then notices the insubstantial nature to it and he knows it is an illusion.
Sly slashes into the pit fiend after getting up off his knees. His slashes are accurate and on target as they draw line across the thing's skin and fiery blood spills out.
[Will DC 23 for everyone but Appolo.]

Tratain will take his companions word for it that the Devil that they can see is really infact an illusion and Cast Invisibility purge defesnively. All invisible creatures in a 45 foot radius around Tratain become Visible. Tratain will stick close to the others as they approach the princesses.

You are all greatly surprised as laughter erupts from the princesses laying on the three slabs. You are even more greatly surprised as all three slowly stand, chains melting and falling away from them.
Their forms slowly change into that of three females with bluish grey skin. They wear chainmail bikini bottoms and tops, with flowing black hair. Thier ears are slightly pointed, like an elves, but thier teeth are pointed and thier eyes burn with an inner fire. Appearing in each one's hand is a longsword that glows faintly. "Such good little playthings..." One of them points and then laughs. "Ooooohhh...look a paladin...can I keep him." They other two laugh as they nod, then the oldest one speaks up. "I believe there are enough for all of us my sisters."
The devil filled arena erupts in laughter as all the devils roar in laughter and applause. They seem to be enjoying the scene very much and many of them are salivating with anticipation of what will come next.
The three hop off the stone slabs in unison, working almost like one. The one on the left looks into Sly's eyes and smiles a very charming smile. You fill a drag on your will as she continues to stare at you. The one on the right does the same to Appolo while waving him forward with her finger. You feel an almost irresistable need to go to her as if she is drawing you in. The last last she-devil seems to be concentrating on something but soon it appears that nothing is going to happen and she stamps her foot.
*Sly and Appolo I will be needing a Will DC 24*

Appolo fights off the call,but drops his weapons to his side and assumes dazed look and follows after Sly at a slow walk.Once close enough to the she devil he will Attack.He is trying to lull them into thinking he is under thier control.
Will 26,Bluff 20 {Attack 34 Crtical Damage 12x2=24,10= 34}If allowed.

Tratain Deactivates His boots of speed as he approaches the She-Devils. He calls upon the power granted to him by his patron Domi as one of his protectors. He presents his holy symbol and shouts "Away Devil's! Bother us no more"
(Protectors can turn outsiders just like undead, Turning check is 14 so that My Cleric Level +1, so I effect them if they are 10th Level or Lower. And I turn 14 Hit Dice worth of Monsters.)
Tratain will attempt to effect the ones not currently being engaged first.

Sly cannot help himself but walk to the lovely creature before him. It is those lips that seem to draw him on...to know one kiss.
Appolo tries to mimic the actions of Sly and figures that he is doing a good job. If only he can get in close enough to make a play with his weapon and save Sly.
Lorth heads for the she-devil that has captured Appolo's attention, not realizing that she does not really have him in thrall. His weapon cuts a gash in her skin and she howls over it.
Tratain attempts to send the she-devil cowering in fear from them. His posture and tone all tell of a man sure of himself and the power of the god that backs him.
The she-devil calling Sly pulls him into her embrace and kisses him lightly on the lips. "I have a job for you...see these intruders...they seek to defile our home...our home." She purrs into his ear as she smiles at Sly and turns him towards his once friends (Cha DC 21).
The other she-devil watches as Appolo slowly approaches but she is suspicious as you seem to be following Sly. She takes a closer glance at you to confirm her suspicions (Sense Mortive 32). With a low catlike growl she pulls a length of rope from around her waist and throws it at Appolo (touch hit: 20).
The last she-devil hides her face from Tratain as she lets out a scream. You notice that there is laughter mixed in with it though. She suddenly turns on you and hisses loudly. "You think in this place you will see help...you are a fool of a protector." You see her throw her hands in the air and then throw her head back, howling to the nothingness.
From out of a black swirling hole that appears near the sacrificial slabs, appear four creatures. Thier brownish skin is most definitely retilian in nature, but they have the aura of evil around them. A full stragley beard surrounds their face and they gnash thier claws in anticipation of what is to happen. The biggest looks to the she-devil that called them and bows lightly. "You called us mistress?" His eyes flick to the party and he smiles, full well knowing why he was summoned.
The she-devil smiles and then nods. "KILL THEM...SLOWLY." It suddenly dawns on some of you that she-devil on occassion bring back dead victims to play with later.
[Sly - You can ignore that order if you beat her Cha check. You will still be under her control though.]
[Appolo - If the rope hits it will wraps itself around you and start to squeeze. Str DC 24 to break free of the rope.]

OOC:Sly rolled 20+2versus enchanment=22just about make it. Sly's dagger attack Ac33, damages 5+6=11hp
Sly advances closer and closer to those lushes lips, he is about to kiss her, (but Sly has taken one of his daggers from the small of his back). Sly's lips presses on the she devil's lips, puts his arm round her waist, pulling her to him and then sticks the dagger up into her rib cage, he's hoping to get her heart, but doughs if she has one.
