Wednesday May 25th, 2016 11:26:30 AM

Cursing himself for a fool, Terser calls upon his magic to squirm free of the acid beast before it can finish dissolving his armor.

Jozhur breathes a sigh of relief when he sees Terser free himself. He continues striking at the monster, landing two more blows. This time he is not quick enough, though. His sword (+1 Frost shortsword) is destroyed.

Wednesday May 25th, 2016 4:19:40 PM

"Nice work Zeoll. Hey, next Genie your create should make a new weapon for Magana!"

Rillett will act to aid another for Terser's blows, and be ready to pull anyone that is grappled from the creature's grasp with Dimensional Hop.

Reggie just continues to back up the genie with the approaching statues or whatever they are.

DM Dan K - Attack  d4=1 ;
Wednesday May 25th, 2016 10:44:26 PM

Zeoll brings a genie to assist and asks that he create a stone grill down the hallway that will block the approaching creatures but not allow them to see the party or the conflict. The hall is curved and Zeoll is hopeful.
Reggie goes with the genie, ready to help if the creatures being walled off manage to overcome the barrier
Magana charges in and blasts into the demon ooze with her horns. The creaure winces and the minotaur is burned for her efforts, but neither as much as one might have expected. Magana takes 1 Damage
Terser in a flash of insight, slips magically from the creatures grasp by calling upon his deities gifts
Jozhur continues his strikes and though he looses a weapon to the creatures acidic nature, he also destroys it.
Rillet stands ready to assist, but the creature is dead and the immediate danger is over

Down the hall and out of immediate visual to all but Reggie, the genie sets about to accomplish its task. Reggie watches as the Genie brings into existence a stone wall that seals off the hallway. Just before the wall appeared, Reggie spied 4 human sized creatures, the statues seen earlier, heading towards you. the wall of the genie, seals them off completely. the creature of air then moves quickly back down the passage to Zeoll. Holding it breath, but in obvious discomfort it nods to the liontaur that brought it here

Demon: DEAD

Wednesday May 25th, 2016 11:34:17 PM

Zeoll nods to Rillett but explains that the genie can only create such once per day.

He thanks the genie and begs him to continue holding his breath. And to become invisible ... why not!

He offers anyone who wants one a masterwork dagger he has on him. "It has sentimental value, but it would be a good weapon, given its historry, werre it used to strrike at Biloopl."

With his shield in place, Zeoll urges everybody to keep moving.

ooc: Magana's DR brings that damage down to Zero
ooc2: I thought constructs were either pre-programmed or directly controlled, but I can't find any info. help?

Surprised to be alive, Magana's rage abruptly ends. She looks at her weaponless hands and says, "Ruh-Roh!"

Rillett turns to Magana and Jozhur.

"Well, I have a morning star and a club either of you can use - but they're both human sized weapons. Maybe not the best underwater, but this might help."

Rillett casts Freedom of Movement on Jozhur (allowing him to act without hindrance under water for 100 minutes.)

And then, to Magana, "You know, I have an anchor if you think that would be better as an improvised weapon." Rillett pulls out a feather token. (Not really sure what kind of damage an anchor would do.)

Magana gratefully takes the puny morningstar offered by Rillet. At least her hands are not empty now.

Thursday May 26th, 2016 8:27:30 PM

Jozhur pulls another sword from his belt, "Thank you Rillett[b/], but I carry plenty of weapons." He also interrupts Rillett as he begins casting freedom of movement, "That would help me get into position behind our enemies, but I can use the weapons I have just fine, it turns out. You can use that on one of our other warriors maybe."

Terser was about to offer some javelins, but it seems the unused arsenal of the rest of the party was quicker, and will probably be more effective.

Magana responds to Rillett. "Right. Can you fix that? I do not know the right prayer."

DM Dan K -
Friday May 27th, 2016 9:47:45 AM

Zeoll asks the genie to remain longer and while it can still hold its breath, it remains. With a nod the genie becomes invisible, although the water displaced around it reveals its position.
Reggie remains by the wall, about 80' away from the group, listening. He can clearly hear the creatures on the other side slamming into the wall. The shock waves carry through the water quiet well as low pulsing sounds
Jozhur pulls a backup weapon and Magana takes the offered morning star from Rillet
Rillet casts Freedom of Movement on Jozhur
The morning star is designed for a weilder considerably smaller than Magana, but she considers it better than her horns. Inappropriately Sized Weapons: A creature can't make optimum use of a weapon that isn't properly sized for it. A cumulative –2 penalty applies on attack rolls for each size category of difference between the size of its intended wielder and the size of its actual wielder.

The weapon is also nonmagical and Magana inquires if that can be remedied

The group knows they should be moving on, but have a few housekeeping things to work on. the passage they are in currently continues to curve away from them and descends at a mind grade

Terser please keep track of the damage to your armor. it took 23 points of acid damage. armor HP is 5x the armor bonus. items gain the broken condition at 50% of their HP

"How thick is that wall? Think those things can even get through?" Jozhur is ready to either move on or go back to dispatch the constructs.

DM Jeff - The Hallway
Monday May 30th, 2016 11:49:11 AM

The group gathers in the hallway, a dead blurry acid demon at their feet, pounding creatures at their rear, and something unknown around the twists and turns of the hallway in front of them. A small bubble escapes from the body of the acid demon and floats upward towards the top of the hallway. The group tries to decide their best course of action...

(I wasn't quite sure if today is an official Wold holiday...)

Note: Yes, Terser did take acid damage as well. That thing was downright nasty.

(Ed) Reggie | AC : 24 / Touch 20/ flat: 20 | HP: 105 / 115
Monday May 30th, 2016 7:49:31 PM

Reggie turns to answer Jozhur, "I don't know how thick but those things sounded pretty strong and they probably will break through eventually."

Rillett (MarkB) HP 87/87 - AC 23/13/21 CMD 20
Tuesday May 31st, 2016 1:41:31 AM

"I think the best course of action may be to go back to that stone wall [b[Zeoll's genie created, put Magana in front, and wait for them to break through. Then Magana can hold the corridor, we can back her up with healing and such, and she can take out these creatures one by one."

"We station Reggie or Jozhur down this corridor a bit to alert us to anything coming from where we were headed."

"What do you guys think?"

For the DM - Is this a 10' corridor? Does it seem like these creatures could break through that wall?

DM Jeff - The Hallway
Tuesday May 31st, 2016 7:46:18 AM

The hallway here twists and turns and rises and falls like the currents of the sea. Occasionally there is a push from the water underground as the water flows gently through the tunnel. It is about ten feet wide, but there are sections that are narrower and sections that are wider.

Back down the hallway, the summoned genie created a series of stone columns creating a jail-cell like setup. The constructs that were with the acid demon are on the other side, banging into the stone, trying to get past. Zeoll knows that the stone barriers will last for a long time before the magic wears out (9 hours). They are solid stone and appear to be holding against the tridents of the constructs.

Rillett suggests going back to deal with the constructs, but it may be a long time before the stone barriers disappear. There are gaps in the stone barriers, but poking the constructs may take even longer. The hallway going forward beacons to the group, daring them to move along and meet their next challenge…

{ooc: going with Reggie knew it would take a while for them to get through}

"I could have told ya that." Reggie mutters and moves forward.
