Tishe’ advices Emrys that this may be a long battle and to conserver her spells before yelling to Edson about the Resilient Sphere. As she is yelling two more Derakni teleport in causing her to rethink conserving spells as she fires off some magic missiles at the Horned Devil. The missiles strike true as the devil yells in rage.

Velarin shouts to have the ogre kill the mastodon to free up Barratore. He assures Tishe’ that he has several spells left and then watches as his magics fail to summon a wall of acid as he had hoped. Barratore quickly lops off the mastodons head before turning and tearing into the demon that just appeared beside him. The creature withstands the attack and he calls to Edson to lure something else too him.

After taking substantial damage Sir Royston is able to easily shrug off the poison. Reacting in rage he tears Derakni1 to small pieces in an impressive onslaught. Likewise Brom makes quick work of Derakni3.

Across the battle field you can see more large flying creatures heading your way and experiences tells you it is at least three of the Horned Devils!!!

Emrys commands the ogre to attack the horned devil and Edson joins the ogre in the attack. As the ogre pulls back his ogre hook to attack a weird look appears on its face as it bursts into a shower of simple grass. Edson continues his attack and kills the Horned Demon with well placed strikes at vital organs. As it falls it explodes outward also into a shower of simple grass.

You have battled, and continue to battle, as if the fight would never end. But in fact, you have held the circle long enough! Across the battlefield you can see that all Sarr creatures are collapsing to the ground and falling from the sky and everything stops. Every minion of the Sarr, every enemy infected by or made out of bloodgrass immediately ceases to function as the corruption withers to dust and they become rooted in place as blades of Sarr grasses, only slightly tinged with red.

Finally, there is a huge writhing as three final gigantic creatures emerge from Sar. They are so large -- a hundred or two hundred feet high -- that in emerging they rip the Sarr asunder! These three figures seem familiar to those who encountered images when you broke the crstals that had infected your homelands: they are the mysterious figures, here born as the new powers of the Sargrass Plains.

One with the oak leaf circlet transforms into a gigantic treant. One on stilts transforms into the mother of all Sarg moths. One with wings transforms into a series of flickering bestial shapes.

They speak together in unison. Each of the Powers says a different word when there is a choice in brackets.

“WE ARE THE SARR [REBORN/BORN/EVOLVED]! WE THANK YOU, HEROES OF THE WOLD, FOR YOUR PART IN BRINGING THE PLAINS BACK TO THE WOLD!”

“WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR YOUR ROLE IN [ENDING/TAMING/CURING] THE [THREAT/CHALLENGE/DANGER] OF THE BLOODGRASS.”

“WE HAVE [CONCEDED/AGREED/VOWED] THAT WE MUST NOT WAR AMONG OURSELVES, FOR THAT WOULD DESTROY OUR HOME FOREVER.”

V looks around at his companions. "It appears that this part of the battle is over. How many of our brethren have fallen on this day? I fear to wonder. This battle was one that will go down in the books to be remembered by future generations, And I am proud and thankful to see that all of the Keeper's of the Vale still stand, and I'm just as proud and thankful to be counted among them."

V looks at Tishe' "What now with your Sarr? It is not what it was, but will they bring peace and return the Wold to a natural balance? Is this a peaceful resolution to the situation? One way or another, this day should mark the day that this matter is settled."

Tishe’ runs a gamut of emotion, elation by the Keepers killing the devils, consternation at the next wave, again happy when the creatures turn into Grass, and awe at the strange and powerful transformation of the Sarr into three Immortals agreeing to work together for the land.

The face she turns to Velarin, however, is one of confusion. “The Sarg Moth is the final evolution of Sargrass specific creatures, and I guess the treat represents the druidwood.” She just shakes her head at the third avatar. “I hadent a clue that the Sarr was multi persons, and while they seem in agreement just now, I think it is important to make sure it IS done for the future.”

“Someone should talk to them”, she suggests, clearly indicating that she shouldn’t be that person.

He wipes the grass off and stands in awe at three new powers...

Edson is about to point to Tishe... and then catches she doesn't want to talk.

" Well Brom and Barry will pick a fight. .. i don't have people skills. V? Emrys? New guy?"

Dragon-Royston flexes his claws in satisfaction as the demon is slain. He turns to vent more righteous fury, but is brought up short by the emergence of a new Power. He lands on the ground with a whump. He is wary. "Is this the new Sargrass?" His voice booms in his draconic form. "A triumvirate deity? Gods with several aspects have a tendency of being... fickle. We must not let down our guard."

Barratore spins quickly and prepares to finish off his opponent so that he can engage the horned devils coming in, but there is no need. The minotaur mentally starts planning out what his best options would be to combat these massive things, take to the air and stay at range. That too, turns out to not be needed as the battle has apparently been won. He looks over to V, "Epic and for the ages to be sure."

Barratore was not sure what to make of what the Power was talking about. It sounded like wherever the group now stood, was going to be or become the Sargrass of old. Which meant it was going to be brutally hot and quite dangerous. Brom was right on a drink being needed, but to Barratore this was still undone.

"Three aspects of power! That sounds quite familiar. That's a sacred number ... the Power of Three"

"You have four aspectss ... that we know of ... and that number could be infinite," replies Daemon.

"Monster doesn't count. He an anomaly. A curse ... the scar leftover from a wound."

"Monster hasss hisss place."

"As long as it's not here."

Emrys stares on in wonder. He wonders if the great treant is Culverwood influenced. He then shakes off the invisiblity, now that it's no longer necessary. He suddenly feels very tired. However Edson and Barratore is correct, they should see how the other groups are doing.

Emrys will provide a fresh Wind Walking spell to whomever needs it to get around to the other groups.

Edson yells in triumph and notices Tishe’ may not want to talk. Instead he looks to the others. Runing the gamut of emotion [/b] tishe’ [/b] takes a moment before turning to Velarin and speaking about the Sarr. Brom hangs his sword on his back and retrieves his bow and declares his desire to get back home and have many drinks.

Sir Royston lands heavily and muses on the nature of this new diety. Barratore spins quickly and is taken off guard by the absence of enemies. Not sure what to make of the new power he suggest linking up with the Iron Dragons.

As you see and hear the three new Immortal Powers of the Sargrass, a mist rises from the Plains and forms into a light grey cloud over the three newborn immortals at the center of your circle. In the rising mists you see the avatars of gods ... a great silver dragon ... a greater gold dragon ... an all-seeing eye ... a waxing moon ... a blue-eyed dove ... and others besides.

Emrys speaks of the sacred number three. He and daemon converse of monsters before he moves to cast wind walk on those around him. He is stopped short by a voice.

"Oh hello!" You jump in alarm as you are greeted by a small fellow who appears in the middle of your group! He was not there a second ago! He is a funny-looking thing, with a body shaped kind of like a strawberry, but with long spindly arms and short spindly legs. He has mud on his feet -- red glowing mud, though the redness fades away after just a moment. Something about him seems a little bit infernal ... the tiny horns? The scaly skin? Something. But surely no evil demon could sport such an honestly happy grin!

"Well, now! Nicely done! NICELY done, indeed," the happy outsider declares. "While you all distracted that crazy Sarr, the gods have set things to right and anchored the Plains right where they belong. Good job."

The funny looks around and appears a bit surprised. ] "What's no one lying down on the job? You must be more skilled then the others or were not challenged enoug! Still no one to bring back is less work for me."

The short guy glances down at his hands and then says formally, "The blood of the Wold has returned where it belongs. The infection called the Bloodgrass is beaten back and tamed. The Plains, preserved by the power of the Fey Queen, are returned and tied into the Wold as they should be. And now life will spring anew throughout this land. You who have responded to the call of the gods, you have earned a place in the history of the Wold, and you have the gratitude of the gods."

Brom immediately asks to be sent home not caring about the who or why of what just happened. Just… home. Velarin concedes that he is not sure exactly where they are but he is co confident that he can get them home, tomorrow, before greeting the messenger of Gargul.

Siry Royston narrows his eyes and asks how this will change the Saragrass today and for time to come. Edson questions ow many were lost in the battle and if Gragul will help them all. Edson questions further about the overall condition of the Wold and how much loss of life there was overall.

“Good questions, good questions.” he whipes his hands a bit and looks a touch uncomfortable before he answers. “As far as what changes come in time, well that is for time to tell I think. Today and probably tomorrow the Wold is better then it was yesterday I think.”

He looks at Edson “It was not that long about that you were among the dead I believe. Thread cut short and all that. Rest assure that though many died heroically those that did have just no been restored. The Wold is changed in places but the cataclysm is but a memory for most. What life was lost, to a large degree, is right again but when gods battle the little people can get caught in the violence I guess. I really cannot speak for all.”

He draws himself up to his full, unimpressive height and mumbles to himself. “Now where are you suppose to be again….. Ahh yes.” He glances at you one more time and in the space of a blink you are transported back to your previous battlefield and the now empty crater. A slightly open chest sits on the ground in front of you waiting to be opened.

He watches Brom head off towards Magpie. He was mad, Barratore was figuring at himself mostly. The walk would do him good. Had before after all.

Barratore picks up the chest at V's request and he for one was just fine with the Windwalk spell. It would give them a chance to survey as they zipped home. Tishe’ casts Fly and rises up to look around to figure out where they are; at the crater? At Magpie Crossing? Somewhere else?

As she does, she has some stream-of-consciousness talking out loud. “The imp said ‘gods’ but the Sarr wasn’t a vid, only an immortal. As if being an immortal were something you can be ‘only’ about. But does that mean the Tri-Sarr is now a god? And if so, what pantheon? Could there be a rising Southern continent pantheon? No, ridiculous! The gods of the Wold hold sway everywhere or else Trellus couldn’t be a cleric of Domi and and Grymash of Gargul. So Tri-Sarr wasn’t one of the gods at war, unless the Imp was being poetic, but why? So if the gods were at war, what else happened or changed?...”

The Spellweaver continues, not even hearing what she is saying, but needing to hear something to make sense of what the Keepers experienced.

Dragon-Royston looks about bewildered for a moment. Why Gargul of all deities has such rapscallion for a proxy, I will never understand. He sees the chest, sees the party heading toward... somewhere. He breathes deeply and blows out his mouth, and his dragon form floats away like pollen leaving the normal-sized Sir Royston standing in the field. "That was interest, to say the least.
