Appearance

Kale is not a good looking minotaur. Standing 7', 4" tall and weighing 480lbs, he is an intimadating figure, but add in the burn scars that are all over his face and arms he becomes a frightening one. His horns were broken off during his childhood, so he covers his head with a wide brimmed hat that seems to always be hiding his face from view. He wears dark gray pants and a dark grey shirt which hides his leather armor underneath. He also wears a dark gray duster over his cloths, though he sometimes discards it when in battle. On each side of his hip hangs a bastard sword, and a mace also hangs from his left side. Daggers are sheathed on various places on his body, and a composite shortbow and quiver rests on his back when not in use

Personality

The best way to describe Kale is arrogant. He thinks he's the glue that holds the Chosen together, though he has no desire to lead them. He enjoys nothing more than proving to his companions that they cant survive without him. Though he is loyal to all of the Chosen, he only considers Flat-Top his friend. Hes a loner by nature, and prefers to keep it that way

History

Life is never easy on the Taur Islands. Kale was born from a sickly mother from a clan he does not know. Abandoned at birth, he surely would of died except that Mazz, A member of the Kuo-Toth(minotaur thieves guild), found the babe and took him in, to be trained to become a member of the Kuo-Toth. Life in the Kuo-Toth isn't easy. Though he was as strong as most of the other minotaurs, Kale wasn't as physically big as the others (6'3" compared to 7'+), which made him a target. His horns, brittle from diseases he had suffered from as a child, were both broken during his training and have never grown back. His face and body are covered with scars, the results of his training and torments from the other members. His arms, legs, body, and face are 50 covered with tattoos; arcane writing that was forced upon him, but wasn't told what they say. Even though he excelled at his training, Kale knew he wouldn't survive unless he found a weapon which would give him an edge over the others. That weapon turned out to be poison. Once the others found out that Kale used the vile substance on his weapons, the members of the Kuo-Toth gave Kale a wide berth, not wanting to risk his wraith. They don't respect him, but they fear him, and that's good enough for Kale. Recently Kale had a strange dream the led him and a few others to Hearthold Keep and the service of the god Domi. Kale still isnt sure why he was chosen, but as his life has gotten considerably better since his dream he has decided to fight for Domi's causes
