History:
Firn’gaer was born in the city of South Harbor in the kingdom of New Elenna.
The second son to a minor merchant. His parents were not wealthy, but were
able to provide Firn’gaer with many comforts.
He was a bright child and when he was 12 he was taken to apprentice with a
friend of the family, a journeyman mage from the Star Mage Guild. Under his
master’s tutelage, Firn’gaer learned the arcane arts. As soon as he was able
he joined the Star Mage Guild. He worked hard and after a few years he made
the level of journeyman mage within the guild.
One morning he woke to find a strange tattoo, the shape of a broken pinwheel,
on the back of his hand. Being the curious fellow, about magic at least, Firn’gaer
looked into the meaning of the tattoo. Unfortunately, he was unable to find
out any information about it. Advice from the Star Mage Guild was to seek
out the City of Magic on the Southern continent.
Firn’gaer booked passage with his familiar Rufus, a ruddy brown rat, and left
for the southern continent. While traveling to Hook City, he found himself
lost in the Ice Veins. Unable to find assistancein these frozen barren lands,
he was captured by orcs and held until a raid by the Children of Chaos gave
him the opportunity he needed to escape.
With assistance of others in his situation, Firn’gaer was able to escape only
to find himself held by another captor, the tattoo. The mark on his hand has
irrevocably linked him to an unknown prophecy as well as to the companions
he now travels with. He only knows his tattoo holds great power and great
danger. It is because of this terrifying unknown that he has decided not to
return home until he learns of his fate and if he can overcome it.
