Player: Jay Barber Campaign: The Taur Islands Classes: ranger Race: MinoTaur Gender: male Age: 65 Height: 7’11” Weight: 787 lbs. Hair: Black Eyes: Dark |
Appearance
Brahmah wears a heavily worn tunic, breeches, gauntlets and a very weather worn leather cloak. He has a feather once worn by a friend (now deceased), braided into his long black fur. Over his tunic, Brahmah wears a chain shirt emblazoned with Domi's holy symbol of strength, the hammer. A falchion hangs from one hip and a kukri hangs from the other. The Falchion was his father's. He has recently had it enchanted; this is his most cherished possession. His kukri was given to him by his mentor and best friend Smitty, quartermaster of the Nightengale.
He is physically dominating and intimidating, not to mention
rather ugly. He,s brimming with muscles, covered with scars and has engraved
horns. The engravings are those of sea life, nature and female minotaurs.
The warrior is missing his tail and most of his left ear.
Personality
Brahmah is a warrior, first and foremost. The thought of leadership never really crossed his mind, though the idea of having or earning a title was appealing. He has been somewhat isolated throughout his life, growing up in minotaur society learning little more than survival. He had to be bigger and stronger than the rest of his tribe, and he is. Though he would never say he was the brightest or the most intelligent, he’d never fight that issue.
If anyone challenges Brahmah to a fight, doubts his motives or questions his honor, they have made their most fatal of mistakes. He WILL defend honor with his life.
For those who are indeed his friends though, he is a gentle
Taur and a loyal companion and protector.
History
Brahmah's life is a short and simple story.
He's the middle of seven children; most are currently dead or gone, and it was his responsibility to take care of his family after his father was killed in a KAYLEB by a centaur. After his brothers were old enough to take care of their mother, Brahmah looked for odd jobs all over Taur Isle. He was a caravan guard and guide, dock-hand, farmer for a short time and up until a year ago he was a ship hand on a cargo ship.
This suited Brahmah just fine, because he wanted to avenge his father and find the centaur pirate who killed him; Brahmah hoped he would find him on the high seas and exact that revenge. He learned a bit about sailing and while aboard the Nightengale, he had a dream in which Domi came to him and told him that he was a Chosen and to travel to Hearthold Keep where he would meet the others and help reunite the three Taur races. Then Domi died. Holy missions seemed more important than revenge and servitude, so Brahmah left the ship where he had been serving his life debt to the Captain.
Recently, the reigns of leadership has been temporarily handed
to Brahmah. The Chosen's leader, Kenisha, is currently with child and is unable
to fill the part, so Brahmah undertook the Honor.
