NPCs

Pavillon Neutronis - Human/Fighter 6’0” 185lbs Pavillon Neutronis is the former leader of the Wolf Company and current leader of the entire Mailed Fist. He is rather young, only 32, handsome, and quite charismatic. He is a great leader and well respected throughout the Fist. Nuterius is also extremely ambitious. His quick ascension has worried several nations that he might not be content with command of a Regiment and fear he might seek a nation instead. Now deceased. executed for crimes against the Fist after a failed attempt to take a city, murder and breaking fist code.

Sergeant Durvan Helmbane - Dwarf/Fighter 4'4" 205lbs He was one of the two leaders of the party's double fist. He is very gruff and does not speak much. He comes across as very gruff and mistrusting. He is a lifelong soldier that is new to command and quick to abuse authority. He was recently proven to be not only abusive to soldier, but civilians as well. Deceased. Hung as a Traitor for aiding and abetting a wererat crime ring that was stealing from the Citidel.

Lieutenant John Trimmack - Human/Fighter 6'3" 198lbs was one of the two sergeants who trained the Double Fist before they became Nikolai's Fist. He has been promoted extremely fast to this point in his career, mostly due to his ability to spot and train talented recruits. ISgt Trimmack is very dark complected, almost ebony in color. He is chiseled and very fit... the perfect soldier. He speaks with an air of confidence, but is not cocky. He speaks as a man who has faced overwhelming odds and came through the victor.

Qualtmie Redfist Northernvoice -- also known as "Q" -- is the quartermaster of the Fist's Citadel. She is a halfling, small even by halfling standards, with olive skin, almond-shaped eyes, and a shock of bright red hair that seems almost unnatural. She is nervous when things go wrong. She owes the party a favor for ridding her stores of a rat infestation.

Captain Constance Palance - Human/Ranger 10: 5'7" 134lbs is the newly promoted Company Commander of the Wolves to fill the void left by Pavillon Nuterius. Constance actually graduated with Pavillon and is quite close to him. Palance is a very strong-willed woman who earned much recognition in mounted warfare on her war charger, Ronin. She is hard-headed, and stubborn, but fair. She takes command seriously, and expects much from those to whom she delegates authority. She and Sgt. Trimmack elevated Double Fist to the station of Agents of the Fist and gave Nikolai command as Thumb.

Merina "Bloodblade" SwainHuman/Rogue 5'6 123lbs New Grand Marshall of the Mailed Fist after the attempted coup by Neutronis, also commander of Snake company. Smart, ruthless and efficient. One of the few commanders who recognized Nuterius's betrayal early on. The Fists Grand Mistress of the Black ops and information gathering world.

Factions

Wolf Company is the home Company of Nikolai's Fist (officially Wolf Company, First Agents). Primarily a cavalry unit, Wolf Company is active in their home region of Fargunia. Relations within the Regiment are good and Nikolai's Fist is something akin to a celebrity, thanks to their constant success in difficult missions.

Diplomacy: Helpful

Hornfowl is a city located in central Fargunia and an increasingly common assignment for the Mailed Fist. Nikolai's Fist in particular is held in great respect here, as they blunted a Gnoll invasion some several hundred strong by not only getting the towns defenses in order, but stopping a team of Gnoll sappers as they tried to collapse the rear of the town.

Diplomacy: Friendly

Jubjub's Tribes are a loose tribal network of Vegepygmies that inhabit the Southern reaches of the Cursed Swamp. Convinced by Nikolais Fist that they were enemies of the large Gnoll population, the sentient plants made for skilled guides and useful informants in a place where no other allies were apparent.

Diplomacy: Friendly

Tribes of the Gnoll Prophet are a collection of Gnoll dens bound under the leadership of a mysterious Gnoll who calls himself "The Prophet". Nikolai's Fist has run afoul of his tribes twice, once in the defense of Hornfowl and once more when scouting the newly discovered enemies in their stronghold in the southern area of the Cursed Swamp. Several hundred Gnolls are known to patrol the southern swamp at a given time, while some thousands occupy the northern Cursed Swamp, near the Necromancer's Tower.

Diplomacy: Hostile

Sons of Neutronis Pavillon Neutronis elite fanatical troops. dispossessed after the death and reorganization of the Mailed Fist, they have turned to banditry and terrorism, for purposes unknown.

Diplomacy: Murderously Hostile.
