Tink offers to pop the polyps using the necklace of adaption.

Wyaar reactivates his divine bond while waiting for the others to figure out how to deal with the polyps. He also tries to come up with a new pun.

Restlin runs out of patience and runs across the chamber.

Zane continues towards the exit following Tink.

Bosk points out everyone is getting tired of thinking so they are just moving forward without a plan as usual.

Garret says he likes the plan of intentionally popping the polyps.

Beri tells Garret not to pop any polyps and motions his elementals to follow.

Bosk tells everyone to hold their breathe until the dust settles.

Tink draws her silver dagger and moves to the far end of the chamber and starts clearing the polyp, she notices that if she is really careful and takes a full round she can clear a 5 foot by 5 foot square in a round without setting them off. Slowly Tink starts slashing the polyps and clearing the chamber of them. After 32 and a half minutes the chamber is completely clear.

That done you exit through the sphincter door and enter another tunnel, though this one is slightly different. It’s walls are a darker shade of red, and rhythmically undulate as you walk through its length. At one point, the walls contract to almost touch sides. The party has to time a dive through the opening to avoid being crushed. With no immediate rush, everyone is successful. It continues past several more sphincter-doors. It is difficult to gauge distance, but by your footsteps you would guess that you have traveled nearly half a mile.

You begin to hear sounds. Though muffled and distant, you hear the sounds of combat as well as moaning, shrieking and wailing. You also hear the sounds of dread, a kind of intense unremitting fear and anguish.

You come to the last sphincter-door and the sounds have grown in intensity. You believe they originate in the next organ-chamber. Something is going on in the next chamber, what could it be?

"Well yea. It'd be offensive to Wardd if I carefully planned every step of a luck quest, you know," is Restlin's response to Bosk. He notes with some satisfaction that it worked once again.

...and speaking of luck quests, Restlin keeps his eyes peeled for anything useful as they walk through the creature.

Restlin will summon a lilend azata before the sphincter is opened. "Hello, my dear," he says in celestial. "We don't know what's past that sphincter there, but I'm betting it will be something worth seeing. Could you provide my friends and I some accompanying music?"

He'll cast greater invisibility right before the sphincter is opened.

Lucky Find: While on a Luck Quest, items tend to just fall into the character's hands. The character gains a bonus to search rolls equal to her mendicant level (this does not stack with the Jack O'Trades bonus). Even if the DM has not planned for an item to be found, there is a chance of finding something anyway. The DM secretly rolls a d12, unmodified by luck points. On a 1, nothing is found. On a 2-5, something non-magical and not obviously useful is found. On a 6-9, something non-magical and useful is found. On a 10 or 11, something magical but not obviously useful is found. On a 12, something useful and magical is found. The DM chooses what is found, and may be inspired by the table on page 113 of the 3.0 DMG, or on page 66 of the 3.5 DMG. So much time has passed!

Before the new door is opened Wyaar will once again re-up his divine bond (3/4 times for the day!) and cast bless on the group as a whole. He walks on the ground now and leaves his last flying boot use for later.

Hmm, I wonder if this is part of some ritual going on in there. As much as I'd like to see if they kill themselves off if we just wait a few minutes, with our luck each second is bringing them closer to completing their master plan.
Beri prepares to cast greater dispell when the sphincter opens if it looks like there are magical traps prepared, or if there appears to be some ritual going on where such a spell would help. He also motions to his elementals to spread out enough that they can't all be attacked by a single spell.

Tink points out the noises on the other side of the door and suggests she opens it while the others prepare for battle.

Restlin tells Bosk it would be insulting to Warrd if he planned out every aspect of a luck quest. He then keeps his eye out for anything useful and stumbles upon a pair of wristbands that look like normal protective gear.

Restlin then summons an azata and asks for some musical accompaniment. Lastly he casts invisibilty right before the door is open.

Wyaar reups his divine bond and then casts bless on the group.

Tink activates the door to reveal a nightmare.

The organ-chamber is rectangular, and composed of the same red-green flesh as the rest of Soma. It is about 60 feet wide and 500 feet long. The center is a walkway 10 feet wide down the entire length of the chamber. Flanking the walkway on either side are tables. The tables start 20 feet from you and continue the entire length. The tables are raised about 5 feet off the floor. There are approximately 80 tables in total. Some of the tables are damaged, flipped upside down or in pieces on the floor. Above some of the tables is a series of mechanical arms ending in large chopping blades but it looks like the tables or where there used to be tables that are missing them there is also some sort of wreckage indicating their should be mechanical arms and chopping blades.

The tables that are still semi-attached have cut straps at what would neck and chest level on a large creature. Speaking of large creatures, their are nearly 80 trolls in various stages of regenerating limbs moving as best they can around the large room. The trolls are incomplete, all of them look to have had their limbs amputated. Some have their limbs removed at the joints and are little more with torsos and heads dragging across the floor while others have limbs completely healed. These ones are the ones that are really wreaking havoc. Some are attacking the tables, the metal arms or each other while others are seemingly catatonic.

After a few more seconds, you hear a mechanical whirring from down the hall. One of the sets of mechanical arms has sprung to life erroneously. It is positioned above a mostly impact table and it quickly slashes where the arms and legs of a strapped down large creature would be. Another set of mechanical arms, with pincers instead of blades, snake down and grab at nothing. The pinchers move over an orifice at the head of the table.. You see that every intact table has one and the tables that aren't well they could accommodate it.

The trolls themselves are either a shade of red or green. It occurs to you, now, why Soma is reddish-green.

Among the still intact mechanical arms above the tables, you see that one of them is a flexible metal tube. At the opening of the tube is a brown, gravy-like residue.

Intelligence check DC 15 Highlight to display spoiler: {It appears to be a feeding tube. You guess that the tube will snake down the throat of a troll if it was strapped in place and directly pump the brown liquid into its stomach.}

It appears that this room, based on the pieces that are still intact, was designed to continue autonomously without any outside intervention for a very long time. However with the trolls loose fighting, eating each other and vandalizing the furniture and apparatuses in the room it now looks like a hellscape.

When the sphincter door opens as you take in the carnage some of the trolls turn their attention to the now open door and start advancing towards you. It would appear the trolls were set free to slow you down and boy do they sound angry. Sadly there is nothing for Beri to dispel as the sounds were not some dark ritual but the sounds of the trolls whose organic matter had been used to create Soma running amok. To get out of this room it looks like you will either have to avoid or engage the Trolls as there is another sphincter door on the far side of the room. Of course if you want to have a clear path to retreat should you need it you'll most likely need to clean out the mad trolls in your would be escape path.

Restlin calls upon Wardd to detect magic when he finds the bracers (spellcraft autopasses). He notes Wyarr already has a nicer pair than this, but Zane uses a bow. "Hey, Zane. Want these bracers?"

Then, the door opens. "Dear diary," Restlin says aloud. "Today I saw the most horrible thing ever."

Part of him admires the efficiency of the setup. It's horrible, and not even trolls deserve this, but it's still genius.

"I only have one fireball left, so let's see if we can't clump these chumps up a bit." To that end, Restlin picks the troll farthest way that he has a good line of site to and releases three rays of fire at the thing. That ought to get its attention.

Garret stands and gasps at the horrible scene before them. He stops bouncing from foot to foot and says, "This is just awful. This whole place should be burned to the ground and destroyed. I don't want to delay, but I don't see how we can leave this place alone."

He stands at the front of the group in a defensive posture, waiting for the trolls to gather closer together and towards the group so Restlin can get a good shot in. If a troll gets in range, he will have a punch ready for it.

Sesha slips back into dragon form, this time, a huge copper. She likely has to move herself away from some of the other Iron Dragons to pull it off. She inhales, and sprays as many trolls as possible with a caustic line of acid breath.

Zane replies, "I can make use of them, but after this..... I think this is a good time to try out my new spell....."

Zane waits for as many troll or troll parts to get in the area of effect of a Fireball...
He then casts a Shadow Evocation version of it. Will Save DC 16. Ref save DC 15. 37 fire damage.
Fail both saves takes full damage.
Makes Will save 9 damage.
Makes Ref save 18 damage,
Makes both saves 1 damage (disbelieve happens before the reflex save)

Zane will accept the bracers if offered within reach, he'll just hold onto them for now.....

"Those things are feeding tubes" Tink points out "I'm going to try something. It may do something or be a complete waste of time. Let's see"

Rather than attack the trolls directly, Tink sends an acid dart at the feeding tube. She's curious to see whether the trolls will go for it, whether they will flee from it, or just ignore it entirely.

"I've got another reverse gravity spell up my sleeve if it will help"

Good thinking Tink. I've got one more if we need it, but I'll keep it in my back pocket for now, I can channel it later if it isn't needed.
Beri signals his elementals hold back, if any of the trolls manage to get into striking distance before Tink sets off reverse gravity, they are to turn into whirlwinds and hold back the trolls until the spell is ready. Beri double checks and will cast air walk on anyone who needs it before Tink casts the spell.

Restlin figures out what the bracers are and then makes a note about how horrible the new chamber is. He then points out he only has one fire ball left so they could clump up the trolls. He then fires off 3 scorching rays at troll 4 dealing 47 damage.

Garret readies to punch the first troll that gets close.

Sesha turns into a huge copper dragon and sprays 4, 7, 10, 13 and 19. They all get hit fully by the acid spray and troll 4 dissolves completely having first been hit by Restlin's rays.

Zane casts his newest spell targetting 6,8,9,11,12 and 14 with a shadow fire ball.

6,8, and 11 disbelieve it.

9, 12, 14 believe it.

6, 9, 11, and 14 fail to avoid any of the blast

8 and 12 succeed at avoiding some of the blast.

Tink fires off an acid dart at one of the feeding tubes. Most of the trolls ignore it but some are drawn to the spilled mush. She also makes it known she has a reverse gravity.

Beri also points out he has a reverse gravity. He also tells his elementals to help repel trolls till Tink is ready to cast her spell.

Wyaar activates the flying boots.

OOC: Just checked the map. That's a butt-load of trolls! And yes, the collective noun for a group of trolls is butt-load :)

"I'm not going to be able to affect them all" she relays over the link "But I'll try and setup a defensive wall"

Tink casts Reverse gravity. She can create 18 x 10ft cubes. Since the trolls are large, and some on tables, she creates the cubes so that they double up - making them 20ft high.

Restlin looks down the hallway and realizes there are a lot more trolls than he realized. One fireball is not going to cut it. He could throw every area effect spell he had at these chumps and only make a dent.

Maybe those gadgets on the ceiling could be activated manually. He looks for any sort of control mechanism among the carnage. "Tink, you're better with gadgets than I am. See anything to control those blades up there?"

Sesha's dragon form ambles forward before beating heavy wings to move through the air past Tinks anti gravity range. In this moment, she wasn't afraid of a troll, and had the weapons needed to help bring them down. Her scales shift from copper to black as she keeps relying on her Shapechange spell.

She inhales, and another 100ft line of acid covers more trolls with acidic spray.

Trolls 7,10,13,15,19, and 22 take 68 damage, reflex save DC 28 for half.

Seeing that Sesha has moved forward, Garret flies over to the side to troll #1 and tries to kick it in the face.

As spells are cast and acidic breaths starts to take its toll Wyaar starts to loose arrows into the room as well to work on clearing the entrance.

Bosk looks at the room and tries to determine the composition of the floor and ceiling in hopes of finding a way to produce acid from it. He also tries to determine if they are regular trolls or sturdier than the common variety. (Knowledge checks 5 and 19). This is where that branding iron that made enemies explode in acid explosions would have come in handy. How come good guys never get to use the evil weapons? I am about of ideas. We can lure them back to the stomach, move past them, of chop them up into little tiny pieces...if they are your common variety trolls and not super strength ones. Thoughts?

Seeing the reverse gravity spell kick in, Beri signals to his elementals to let their trolls float up. Noticing the feeding orifices, he ask them to pick up the most chopped up trolls they find and to start depositing the bodies into the orifices before they regenerate. If the orifices only fit a trolls oversized limbs, the elementals will start placing unconscious bodies on the tables for the mechanical arms to cut down to smaller sizes.

Tink communicates to the others that her Reverse Gravity won't effect all the Trolls so she tries to set it up like a barrier to keep the trolls at bay, catching Trolls 1, 2 and 3 in the area of effect. Trolls 1,2 and 3 take 11 falling as they fail to grab onto the tables near them.

Restlin tries searching the room for a master control mechanism as he doesn't think all his area of effect spells can do enough against the mass of trolls. The mage-priest doesn't find any sort of master controls but there does appear to be some panels on the wall below each table's arm blades. Some of the consoles appear to be smashed by the rampaging trolls and the arms either hang limply or chop at nothing on the table like the ones you saw earlier.

Sesha turns from a copper dragon into black dragon and sprays another line of acid at trolls dissolving 7, 10, 13 and 19 into goo while 15 and 22 only become partially dissolved and get knocked unconscious.

Garret starts counting the trolls and realizes he can't count that high so he flies up and kicks troll 1 in the face.

Zane says his shadow ball had a wide range of effects and then queries if anyone else wants to try something. (OOC: Yes that was most helpful to have it layed out like that)

Wyaar starts firing at the nearest trolls, working his way back in a storm of arrows. His first shot finishes off Troll 1. His next shot deals 33 damage to troll 2 of various types. His follow up shot misses. His fourth shot also slams into troll 2 knocking it unconscious and his fifth shot puts it down for good.

Bosk does not see a way to produce acid from the room they are currently in but if he really wanted acid there was all that acid in the room with the pools. He does identify the trolls as common trolls though some are a reddish hue instead of the normal green.

Beri orders his elementals to work as a cleaning crew for the trolls that have been knocked out. The orifices are not big enough to fit a whole Troll but the blades will cut the trolls into smaller pieces.

Troll 5 lashes out with 2 claws and a bite at dragon-Sesha but its pitiful attacks cannot penetrate her dragon form.

Troll 6 also attacks Sesha but her scales are just too thick.

Troll 9 moves up to attack dragon-Sesha but takes an attack of opportunity to the face however her mighty dragon blow is not enough to knock it out so the troll lashes out with its own claw and misses.

Troll 8 also moves up and tries to hit dragon-Sesha but her natural armor prevails.

The rest of the trolls advance. Some sort of surround Sesha as the giant dragoness is still perceived by many of the mad trolls as a threat.

Beri starts channeling his changestaff spell into a summoning spell to call forth a greater fire elemental.
The air elementals hold off until the end of the round. Once the attacks and acid sprays are done the will grab any unconscious trolls they find and drop them onto empty tables with working arms to start breaking them down into disposable pieces.

Not wanting to miss the excitement Bosk, quaffs a potion of enlarge person and flies forward to fight next to Sesha (assuming he can fly above a table and not have it attacking him. If not, he will remain large sized and fly up in front of Sesha and join in the fight. If neither option is available he will move forward as far as he can and then use dimensional hop to move into the closest available space on the front line.)

Tink starts summoning reinforcements.

Garret flies over to the next troll, a veritable small storm of punches and kicks, pausing to wave at Restlin.

Zane starts critiquing Garret's style not being able to reach the trolls easily from where he is.

Wyaar once again launches a barrage of arrows. The first arrow finishes off the troll that Garret knocked out. His second arrow hits troll 16 for 29 damage. His 3rd shot misses again. His 4th shot deals another 29 damage to troll 16. His final shot slays the beast.

Sesha continues her rainbow dragon impressions this time turning red and utilizing a cone of flame on 6,8,9,11,14,17,18,20,and 21. Troll 11 manages to avoid some of the flames and 9 and 14 end up being served up extra crispy.

Beri starts summoning a large fire elemental by channeling his change staff.

Bosk quaffs a potion of enlarge person and enters the fray.

Restlin ponders the next move.

The trolls continue to swarm Sesha and Bosk.

Trolls 5, 16 and 11 all hit Sesha. 5 and 16 rake her with claws and 11 takes a bite out of her.

Trolls 11, 6, 18, 8, 21 and 12 all attack Bosk. Surprisingly the Grim Avenger gets scratched by a single claw for 12 damage.

The rest of the trolls continue to advance towards the Iron Dragons.

With Bosk so close, Sesha cannot use a cone of fire, so she switches back to her copper form and tries another line of acid. Bosk could take the heat for a moment, she was sure.

The greater fire elemental is summoned and goes to work. If there are any unconcious trolls next to him, the fire elemental will finish them off, otherwise he will attack the closest living troll.

Tink finishes her summons and then asks her Azatas to cast lightning bolts.

Garret sticks his tongue out at Zane and then kicks troll 5 in the face.

Restlin drops a fireball in the midst of the clumped trolls. None of them avoid the blast and 8,21,22,31 and 34 all become piles of ashes.

Sesha switches back to her Copper form and then douses 27,28,36 and 44 in acid. Troll 27 and 36 dissolve completely while 28 and 44 are only partially dissolved.

Zane pulls out some snacks and remarks that lightning won't stop the regeneration.

Beri's fire elemental finishes off Troll 15.

Beri's first 2 huge wind elementals knock out Troll 11.

While his next one teams up with Garret to knock out Troll 5.

His last huge one moves on Troll 16 and knocks it out.

The elder elemental moves on Troll 12 and knocks it out.

Wyaar finishes off 5 and 16 missing with the rest of his arrows.

Tink replies that the lightning should weaken them for the fireball.

Bosk knocks out Troll 11 then moves onto Troll 6 knocking it out too. He outright kills Troll 18, 26 and does some damage to troll 25.

Troll 25 attacks Beri's fire elemental and bites it for 10 damage.

Trolls 23, 20, 24 and 28 move up and provoke AOOs from Bosk. Troll 23 gets injured. Troll 20 gets knocked out. Troll 24 and 28 get killed. Troll 23 tries to return the favor but misses.

Tink encourages the Bralani to keep using lightning and a number of trolls are at least partially effected.

Restlin finishes off unconscious troll 6 with a flaming sphere.

Wyaar shoots more arrows at trolls. He kills troll 8, and 14 and knocks out 17 and 18.

Sesha shifts to a red dragon again and bathes a number of trolls in a cone of flame. Only troll 32 manages to avoid some of it. Trolls 12, 23, 30, 29, 35, 33, 39, 41 become incinerated,
34, 25, 45, 38 become staggered, and 42 gets knocked out.

Garret tries to give Zane advice while he flies up and kicks 17 in the face knocking it unconscious.

Zane continues to watch.

Bosk keeps attacking troll 11. As it did not take fire or acid damage all he can do is it make it harder for the creature to regenerate while humming a song about genocide.

Beri's lone fire elemental finishes off staggered troll 25. (OOC rest of the elementals are air elementals)

Troll 34 tries to attack the fire elemental but misses. Troll 32 moves up provoking an AOO from Bosk and proceeds to get knocked out as does 40.

Not seeing any other targets within clear range, he waits for trolls to attempt to come to him and watches and waits for Bosk to slaughter any who do.

Bosk continues humming to himself as he swings his sword and drives forth his armor spikes. With a sudden intake of breath his humming stops. Sesha, can you do me a favor and collect some troll bits for me. I want an ear to add to my collection (totem bag), but would rather it not start spawning a new troll. You have a special ability for gathering spell components right? Would that work to preserve me an ear? If not I will just have to settled for a barbecued one. You should probably collect some yourself. I imagine reagents from an enemy whose blood sustains an enemy who is in turn sustained inside that enemy must have some use. ( ooc: Bosk needs to single handedly kill the opponent for his totem, but he can have anyone collect it where as I believe Sesha can collect from an enemy anyone killed, but she needs to collect it.)

Tink orders her Bralani to attack troll 11 with arrows.

Restlin moves his ball of fire onto troll 17, killing it.

Garret watches Bosk and tries to alert Restlin to other Trolls that need to be put down.

Sesha transforms herself into a gold dragon and rains fire on the trolls. She also asks for mage armor. A number of Trolls continue to fall from her dragon breath.

Restlin tells Garret to roll the troll over.

Bosk[b] keeps attacking troll 11 making it even more unlikely it will be regenerating any time soon. He asks for Sesha's help in collecting a troll ear for his totem bag.

ooc: I just recounted the distance and realized Bosk cannot travel that far. Instead, please have Bosk Airwalk above Sesha's head and draw his Guirsame (30 ft reach). Bosk will then stand guard over her head and take AoO against any enemy that approaches her.

The fire elemental continues taking out trolls as they fall and the air elementals continue their onslaught. They seem to be doing pretty well, though perhaps getting a little tired. Their hits seem to be a little less sure as the battle drags on, though still fairly solid when they connect.

Restlin's ball of death kills troll 46.

Garret decides he does not want to get in Sesha's way so he starts piling troll parts.

Zane helps the small monk

Sesha continues using dragon breath against the trolls this time choosing red again. She asks about mage armor again. She takes 11 damage from a bite by one of the trolls as an attack of opportunity. Troll 46 is smoked but the rest of the trolls are not damaged enough to die.

Zane positions himself over Sesha with his guisarme ready to attack any trolls who approach.

Beri's elementals continues the onslaught.
Beri's fire elemental attacks 43 and knocks it out. The burn damage should finish the troll off next round.
Huge Elemental 1 attacks troll 53 for 29 damage. Huge Elemental 2 attacks troll 50. Elementals 3, 4 and the Elder attack Troll attack 37 some more piling more damage on.

Troll 53 attacks Huge Elemental 1 and misses with both claws and the bite.
Troll 50 takes a 5 foot step and then attacks Sesha missing with all 3 natural attacks.
Troll 52 and 48 both try to bite Sesha and miss as well.

Unfortunately the trolls did not have to move to attack dragon Sesha so Bosk did not get AOOs with the guisarme.

The rest of the trolls advance as Sesha and the Elementals keep them from moving too far down the tunnel.

Beri watches as the huge air elementals start to slow down, they are definitely showing signs of fatigue as their attacks continue to slow down, and connect with less power than before.
Come on guys, hang in there. I know there are a lot of them, but I have faith in you. Show them what you are made of. The entire Wold may well depend on our success today.
The fire elemental and the greater air elemenal shake off their fatigue and attack with renewed vigor, hopefully their example with encourage the huge elementals to refocus for their next attack.

Tink finally responds to Sesha saying she has Mage Armor but she doesn't want to leave the protection of reverse gravity.

Sesha Turns Gold and uses more fiery cones to damage the trolls. She tells Tink she'll remember that next time someone needed healing. 48, 54, 58, 60, 61, 62, 65, 66 all die. The rest take damage.

Restlin explains he has no mage armor and rolls the flaming sphere onto troll 37 killing it too.

Beri's elementals continue to attack.
The fire elemental attacks 50 and kills it.
Elemental 1 attacks Troll 53 for 30.
Elemental 2 attacks Troll 56 for 30 as well.
Elemental 3 and Elemental 4 attack troll 49 for 48.
Greater Elemental attacks 57 for 44 damage, knocking it out.

Tink suggests Sesha come back for the mage armor.

Sesha responds the trolls are like gnats and that she wants to preserve her life force.

having seen the other elementals take it up a notch, the huge air elementals draw inspiration from them and seem to improve. Their attacks are a little faster and hit more true than before. Hopefully their stamina will last through the rest of this fight.

Sesha ponders briefly how things are going with her coven, whether or not any dishes were left in the sink, and whether or not Garret is getting bored.

She let's her dragon form leave her and she retreats back a little towards Katinka. She pats Garret on the shoulder as she does so and winks. A real wink, now that she doesn't have an eyepatch anymore.

Sesha flies over to one of the unconscious trolls and tries to use her life and deaf ability but the attempt fails (Rolled a Fort Save of 19)

Bosk begins to stir.

Tink asks if she should lower the anti-gravity wall.

Garret flies up and crashes into Troll 71.

Restlin rolls his flaming sphere onto Troll 55 killing it.

Beri asks his elementals to do it one more time.

The fire elemental attacks troll 79. It hits with both slams and burns the troll to death.

Huge elemental 1, 3 and 4 all continue to attack the unconscious Troll 77 pummeling it but good. All it needs is a little fire to finish it off.

Huge Elemental 2 attacks troll 74 hitting it with both slams.

The Greater Elemental does as Garret does and lunges at Troll 71, knocking it out.

Bosk unleashes a full attack at Troll 74 hitting with everything except the off hand and knocking it out as he sings a song about Trolls.

Wyaar finishes off troll 63 and 74 with some arrows. He then fires 2 more arrows into the last troll killing it too.

Sesha considers the fizzling ability and how the troll life force felt different when she briefly touched it before it rebuked her.

Zane watches the slaughter of the trolls.

The battle is won. All the trolls in the harvesting room have been slain and put out of their misery. The way to the next sphincter door is clear. (OOC: Any preparations before you move forward?)

Tink nods and dismisses her reverse gravity spell. There sure are a lot of troll carcasses remaining.

"Reminds me of a story I heard once. A group cut the head off a troll, stuffed it into a chest and sent it to someone they didn't like. When it was opened at the other end, the fully regenerated troll jumped out and killed the guy" Tink looks about "Of course, you can't put too much faith in stories, or that would be one very big chest"

Sesha quickly explains her magical options to her allies, and waits to see if someone needs something.

She is not yet ready to move forward.

Restlin checks his spell pouch, making sure everything's in order. While doing so, a large rose quartz crystal falls to the ground.

"Hey, look at that. I DID have another magic jar crystal." He smiles at Bosk. "Let's try something cool."

Without waiting for a committee, the Mendicant lies down and casts magic jar, transferring his soul to the crystal. Disembodied, Restlin feels around for life forces. If Soma has a life force he can attack, he has no doubt he'll be able to discern it from his companions.

If he senses Soma has a life force he can attack, he does so. Will save DC 24 to resist Restlin's intrusion.

If he senses nothing special, or if Soma resists, he returns to his body, stands, and shrugs. "Well, worth a shot, eh?"

When Restlin drops the crystal, Garret runs over and picks it up. He says, "I can do it this time, where do you want me to throw it?" He looks at Restlin's collapsed body, waiting for a response...

"Garret, you know how you like to eat all the time? well, since Troll regenerate, they were being used as food for the creature we are now inside of. They'd cut off a arm or leg and feed it to this thing. The Troll would regrow the body part. Then they'd do it again. The reason there is so many Trolls, is the size of the Some, it must take a lot of food to keep it alive, so I guess it could now be considered to be dieing since we just destroyed all the food it was eating."

Bosk smiles. Better late than never. Wardd knows how many times I have reached into my bag of holdings and found an item I had forgotten about. As Restlin prepares everyone gather around me and I will get people healed up.

(Please update your character sheets so I know how many spells I need. It looks like I can heal everyone with channel energy, except for Sesha. She would likely need some extra cure spells. I will specifiy what spells I am sacrificiing as soon as I know exactly how much HP need to be recovered)

Tink dismisses the anti-gravity spell and then shares a story of a troll head stuffed into a chest being sent to someone's enemy regenerating in the chest and jumping out and killing the recipient on the other side.

Sesha offers up magical assistance to the party, not being ready to move on just yet.

Restlin double checks his spell components and finds another quartz. He then casts magic jar, transferring his life force into the crystal. Disembodied the mage-priest feels around for a life force. He detects his companions and he detects the station itself. He tries to attack the station and take over but he slams into warding protecting the station from being taken over in this way. He returns to his body and says, "Worth a shot, eh?"

Garret asks about what madness was going on in this room and then while Restlin is in the crystal offers to throw it wherever Restlin wants it, asking Restlin's empty body what to do which of course returns no response.

Zane explains in simplistic terms what this chamber was used for and speculates that since the station is no longer feeding it must be dying from hunger.

Beri thanks the fire elemental before it returns home and the asks Sesha if they have weave elements in effect for the day as he forgets wearing an air vest in air elemental form.

Bosk asks everyone to gather round and heals them while Restlin tries his experiment.

You are standing in the long room with a number of tables in various states of disrepair, some even being mostly whole. The harvesting equipment and their consoles are in similar fashion. Thanks to your efforts the chamber is now littered with 10s of troll carcasses. There is a sphincter door at the far end of the room, the way to which is now clear. What you know is that you fought some Gore Children in the first chamber you came to, set off an earthquake which seems to have alerted the station to your presence as the rest of the chambers you moved through were empty until you reached this chamber with all the trolls that were likely set free to slow you down. You still haven't seen Piso Mojado or Camino De Ladrillo referenced in the notes Beri found nor anyone capable of writing the notes. You also have not seen the Gore Mothers referenced in the notes either. The question is did they run, abandoning Soma when they became alerted to your presence or are you expected and the rest of the occupants of the station are waiting in ambush somewhere for you to arrive. If everyone is gone then you'll have to continue hunting down clues about the Death Dragon Cult elsewhere however if everyone is still here they will have had ample time to prepare for you to show up. (OOC: by all means take whatever preparations you feel is necessary just let me know when you want to open the door) The sphincter door beckons holding the answer to this question.

"Preparations" and "luck quest" were two things that didn't go well together. Restlin does pick around a bit, looking for anything useful, but other than that he's ready to go. He snatches the quartz back from Garret as he does so. "No thank you, sir. You've done quite enough with my magic jars already."

He prays a bit to Wardd as he looks, but he's never been good at praying. He hopes his god will be pleased; it seems like he and his companions are about to have an epic showdown while he's on a luck quest.

"Katinka, I think with all the fighting that was going on, and now that there is no more fighting going on, they know where we are. If the Trolls had won, there would still be a lot of noise in here. And I had a thought as well. I know they are few and far between, but, if Restlin was blocked, they might have a link, that lets them know when each "door" is opened and closed. That way they can tell how far we've gotten.
So, when the rest get to the door, I'm just going to open it.
Just a heads up so you aren't surprised when it happens."

Zane, will open the door when everyone is within 25' or so.

Bosk, I'm down 50 hp, how much did you heal? Considering the fact I still have more HP that most of the party, I'm not worried about it.

Hmm, if we are all healed up I think we are good. My hunch is that they are waiting for us and not that they ran... though they did sabotage this ship's feeding system so it's possible they are leaving.

Sesha shakes her head.

"I think an earthquake sabotaged the feeding systems, not the inhabitants."

She considers her spells a final time, then makes some choices.

She then drinks a potion of Death Ward, activates a Gem of Fire to summon a Fire Elemental, and reads off a shield spell.

Channel energy x2 = cure everyone of 17dmg Bosk quickly goes about healing the group and burning through spells as be prays to Gargul for his blessings. He then downs an Elixir of Tumbling, Elixir of Hiding, and Elixir of Vision.

Heal Zane - Convert meld to stone to CSW = 33hp (should be full health)

Heal Sesha - Convert invisibility purge to CSW = 27hp
Heal Beri - Convert Resist Energy to CSW = 25hp (Should be at Full HP)

Heal Beri - Convert magic circle against evil to CSW = 33hp
Heal Beri - Convert restoration lesser to CSW = 19hp (Should be a -1hp)

ooc: I just realized how low my HP is and discovered I never added the HP from my latest lvl advancement or from uprading my Belt of str +2 to a Belt of physical might. I will be updating these ASAP.
